Donate: Bada - Thank You Everyone!

Bada is a 4-year-old purebred Boston Terrier who was rescued from Osan high kill shelter on March 17th, just in time. She is incredibly lucky, but, to be honest, whoever adopts her will be even more lucky. We know very little about Bada's past but what is very obvious is that she is an affectionate, obedient and smart little sweetheart. She would be a great addition to any home, but especially a home that needs a calm, cute little creature hanging out. She is very low-maintenance!

Right now, Bada is in foster care in Gyeyang-gu. She has seen a vet a couple times and is regaining her health. At the time of her rescue, she was malnurished and had heartworm. She is currently undergoing treatment as many wonderful people have stepped up to make donations toward her recovery. Bada's foster mom has had to front all of the money which has been a large financial strain for her. PLEASE HELP HER in continuing to do a great job in fostering Bada!!

Current status:

Today, Bada is in good health and responding to treatment and is very, very happy to be out of the shelter with a soft bed to lay on. She is pretty happy - no barking, chewing up things, aggressive behavior, etc. She likes just being with people and cuddling. She also loves going on walks and does well on a leash.

**** Update - April 15th, 2014 ****

Bada is responding well to treatment. She is gaining weight after being underweight and her coat is growing back nicely. Things are looking up!

*** Update - April 16th, 2014 ***

Bada has 2 weeks left on her heartworm medication and then she is home free. There are many people that want to adopt her because she has such a great personality - so smiley! - but they are unable to because of their current living arrangements. She is waiting patiently for the perfect home!!! If you cannot adopt her, please forward this profile to someone you know who is looking for a calm and already trained dog.

Her foster mom has done a great job teaching her how to understand the following commands:
-Sit
-Stay
-Wait
-Lay down
-Ok! (she waits for the ok to eat her food)
-No

For anyone who has had a dog, you will know this is immensely awesome that she knows how to follow these commands!
