She's been named 'Dexter' so far because she as these great black rims around her eyes that look just like glasses on Dexter from the cartoon "Dexter's Laboratory"...plus, she is super smart. She got the hang of the litter box and of her designated scratch pad immediately...the latter of which my current, older cat still has not managed.
She meows just a little bit, not a big whiner, is an EXCELLENT jumper...likes to sit in the windowsill and stuff...she's also a considerate and careful jumper, doesn't knock things over and whatnot. She's super playful and active and is very good about playing on her own so you don't always have to be overly-attentive. She'll play with strings, balls, mice...but she's very good about not attacking and playing with non-kitty toys. Amazing!
She is a great snuggler and already likes to lap nap-something that usually doesn't happen for long periods of time until the cat is older in my experience. She loves my current cat, caught them napping together after the first night, really cute! She has really taken to napping in a wicker basket with a blankie.
I believe she's what you might call an 'alpha-kitty' :) So easy to love and very independent. Dexter has even become a teacher to my older cat, thank goodness! I was starting to worry about a couple of things for a bit there! She has already displayed a great ability to adapt quickly and happily. Perfect house cat. I'd guess she's about 3 months old. She was a stray, found in a church parking lot...I fed and bathed her and hope to find her a good home as I only have room for one in my life.
