Sweet Sally is an amazing and ambitious little gal, who so desperately wants a home to live in she took the initiative and sought out a home all own her own!
My fiancee and I were on our nightly walk when Sally poked her head out of the hedgerow. We jumped back in surprise, and she went back into the bush. Once we realized she was a cat and not a drunken ajossi, we stopped to check her out. She immediately came tromping out of the bushes and went straight for cuddles - purring like we'd brought her the biggest dish of salmon she'd ever seen.
She was so innocent and so willing to interact with humans, we assumed she must have been an abandoned or lost house cat, so we took her in. In the 20 minutes it took my fiancee to run home and grab our cat carrier, Sally had jumped up into my lap and fallen asleep.
We brought her home and she thanked us profusely with more purring and headbutting. We already love her to death, and respect her for trying to find a home on her own!
We'd love to have a cat like Sally. She's the sweetest cat I've ever seen; polite, quiet, and well mannered. But, we already have two wild and crazy boys who take up all our cat-time and cat-attention. Sally would be better placed in a home where she can curl up on a lap and enjoy the morning sunshine while you read your favorite book.
She's had her first visit to the vet - who said she seems in relatively good health. She's been listed at the local vets as a missing cat, listed on Korean online sites for missing cats, and we've contacted the local gu regarding her. However, the vet said she's 90% sure she never had a home - she's just a unique stray who decided she wants to trade in dumpster diving for window perching!
September 14th update: It's been almost 2 weeks since Sally decided she was tired of living the hard knock life, and she's looking great. Her coat is looking shiny and clean, and there's a new twinkle in her eye that wasn't there before. She's eating like a horse, and hasn't stopped purring yet. She's even included lots of playing to her impressive repertoire of 'Pick me!' attributes!
We've introduced her to our youngest cat...well, he kind of introduced himself by barreling through a door that wasn't quite as latched as we thought it was! and they got along swimmingly.
Best of all for those interested in the perfect cat, she's shown herself to be solidly litter trained. No accidents yet!
I'm really hopeful we can find her a great home too, she's such a great little gal.

How are things going with her. Are you at all interested in a foster home for her? Have you introduced her to Sparty yet?

Sally is doing awesome. She's just a happy little gal who does nothing but purr and eat. We're still keeping her separated from the boys for another day or two - hoping to find her a permanent situation before we have to risk the shock of ANOTHER cat on our older one.
Sparta though, he barreled his way into her room last night (sometimes he's an unstoppable force.) and neither of them were particularly bothered with the other...Sparta just wanted the jingling ball he'd been hearing all day, and Sally was just surprised by the flurry of black and white action that'd come in the room. Sparta took the ball and left the room, no biggie!
Think we might let her out some this weekend, but supervised only. We haven't had Sparty fixed yet, and she's not fixed either. Disaster waiting to happen there!
About a foster home, if someone had the space and it was convenient, I'd be happy to share her, but I don't want to unnecessarily move her around. Still holding out hope for an adoption soon. I really, really, can't recommend her as a lovely house cat enough!

I'm happy to report Sweet Sally has - tentatively - found a home! I couldn't be happier for Sally. She's such a, well, sweet little gal. She deserves all the love that's sure to come her way.
