Hello, so... many of you have heard of "bathroom kitty". After much debate about what to name him, I have decided to call him "Autumn".
Autumn was found by ARK member Caroline Barsellotti on the streets of Wonju. After a while of living in her bathroom and a few attempts at transportation, he finally got delivered to me by Jordan Schultz on the 22 September 2012 in Cheonan.
Autumn is a lovely cat, to say the very least. He absolutely loves attention - just to be stroked, to be held, to be loved. He doesn't require much maintenance and he's really not fussy. I was impressed at his manners and I am almost positive he lived with a good family before.
On Monday, 24 September, I took Autumn to the vet for a checkup. Mostly he is in good condition except for an infection in his intestines called Giardia (this is not a bacteria). It is NOT contagious to humans but can be contagious to other cats and dogs. Luckily, it seems that it has not advanced very far because he does not have diarrhea yet. He is currently being treated for this, which the vet says will more than likely be a month-long treatment. He will have another checkup and fecal smear in one week.
On Friday, 5 October, Autumn had another checkup. He still has the infection and is so stubborn taking his medication. I have not given up and will continue for about another week, until the infection is completely cleared. Otherwise his as lovely as ever and his getting more and more playful which is totally adorable!
I will update these posts regularly, and let you all know his progress.

What'st the status of Autumn's health? I ran into a friend today who told me that he would like to adopt this guy as long as his treatment was over (he didn't want to change vets in the middle of the treatment).

Autumn, is still undergoing the last of his treatment for his infection, it is takes up to 2 months to cure fully, ( we have completed almost 1 month of medication),also as soon as this is done, i would like to have him neutered. This week I will take him for another check up and update ARK ASAP. The process of curing the infection is taking a long time, but i would rather it be cured first, because Giardia is contagious (cat to cat).
