29.1.2013 UPDATE
설/Snow has been doing great! I have been on vacation so I haven't been able to post anything, but she has been staying with my friend Mike because I was gone for about 3 weeks and they have been getting along swimmingly!! At first, he said that she was a little slow to warm up to him, but they are best buds now!
12.12.2012 UPDATE
I brought 설 back to my home last Thursday, December 6th. She was surprising quiet during the long taxi ride to my house and was very shy upon first arriving. She was also very leery of me, but that was not surprising. I was pleasantly surprised that it only took her a few days to start to become more comfortable in her new home and even with me! She is already coming up to me and letting me pet her a little. She is still easily scared and becomes defensive when this happens. Overall, she is a sweet kitty who just likes her space. She is always happy to see me when I get home from work and greets me at the door. She also likes to play!
I think that she still needs some time to get used to me more, but she is warming up faster than expected! My next mission is to work on grooming her. She has some mats and needs to be brushed more regularly, but I'm still trying to take it slow with her. She will let me do a little bit of brushing, but I don't want to push my luck until we both feel more comfortable with each other.
I think 설 will thrive in a quiet home without other animals. She is a sweet, playful cat who would love a forever home! If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me.^^
P.S. I will post new pictures soon.

This pretty silver persian is for adoption and seeking an understanding home without children. She was rescued by a kind vet who has been taking care of her for the last 6 months. It seems her previous owners were not very kind to her, so her forever family would probably need to be a bit cat savvy and understanding.
She is a younger adult, maybe 4 years old, and spayed. I assume she is also UTD on her shots. This is great, since spaying in Korea is a big expense. Plus, of course, she is a purebred. Please do a bit of research on persians because they are gorgeous cats with specific characteristics.
Due to Cyras' past, it might be better for her to be fostered by someone who is willing to work on her kitty manners.
If interested in fostering or adopting, please use the contact below to meet Miss Cyras.

She's lovely!
What kind of kitty manners do you mean? Is she just shy?
I'm really happy you were able to get her out of the vet's, and into your nice foster home. :)

The person who wrote the first part of the post was just worried that she wouldn't warm up to people very well because of her past. When I first met 설 she felt very threatened by any new people and would swat and hiss at them. Once she was in a secure home that was quiet and not full of barking dogs she was much better. It still takes are a while to warm up to some people, but she feels much more comfortable now that she has her own space. She is very playful and lovable too and once she warms up is the gentlest, fluffiest kitty ever!
