Alfred and Bane FINALLY made it to their adoptive homes in the States! Hurray! Thank you to everyone involved with these sweet boys. We will all miss them dearly, but happy that they finally have the forever homes they so desperately deserved.
***Please help!!! My brother, Bane, and I have an adoptive home in Texas! However, we need help getting there! Is anyone flying to or through Albuquerque, New Mexico, El Paso, Texas, or even Dallas, Texas and willing to let us catch a ride?! All costs will be covered, someone will be able to bring us to the airport and help you check in, and our new family will be waiting at the airport to take us home. You will only have to call your airline to add us to your ticket and claim us when we land and bring us out to the arrival area to meet with our family! We would be ever so grateful!***
Meet Alfred, a six-month-old black and white kitty. Alfred was raised, along with his four brothers and sisters; by humans since the time they were about two weeks old. They were brought to me in a cardboard box with no mother in tow. Therefore, he and his siblings have had to solely rely on humans. Alfred grew up with his siblings, but has had to watch his two sisters and one of his brothers get adopted, while he and Bane still wait for their forever home(s). Alfred and Bane are currently in their third foster home, and we all want their next home(s) to be their last!
Thankfully, Alfred has been around humans for so long that he is the complete opposite of feral. He was also raised around dogs (large and small) so he is pretty comfortable around them once he gets to know the dog(s). He loves to smell and gives lots of kisses to doggies. His favorite thing to do is to sit up and grab the dog's faces with both of his paws and lick their faces.
The two adjectives that best describe Alfred would be confident and adventurous. He has no issues with meeting strangers and exploring his home. Alfred is the type of cat that opens up very quickly, like he has known you all of his life. He loves coming up to his humans for lots of cuddle time and tummy scratches. Even though Alfred is an affectionate cat, he is also perfectly content with lounging all day on a bed or blanket looking out the window.
Alfred is still a kitten and still very much loves playtime! He loves string toys, balls, and anything with bells! He will chase them, chew on them, and has even been known to growl at his favorite toys! It is the cutest thing ever! Alfred is quite a gentleman by learning that he must retract his claws when playing.
Alfred is currently not up to date on vaccines, but he will be soon. He is in need of his last round of vaccines, and then he will be good to go for another year. Alfred will also need to be neutered and microchipped before going to his forever home, but those are relatively inexpensive since his is a male cat.
How can you resist the cuteness?!

Alfred is in need of a new foster/adoptive home ASAP! He has one week to find a place to go or else he is at risk of being put in a shelter :( He doesn't deserve that! He is getting neutered tonight, so no one will have to worry about having an un-neutered kitty! Please take a chance on this sweet little guy! He loves to cuddle and receive lots of pets, but is also content on his own.

Alfred was neutered on the 10th of December and will be able to have his stitches out within the next couple of days. Alfred and Bane both had potential adoptions this past week, however they have fallen through due to no fault of either Alfred or Bane. Alfred is still urgently searching for his furever home!
23 December 2013
Alfred was able to have his sutures taken out over the weekend. He is a much happier boy with those pesky things removed. Alfred has been making great strides in his foster home, but he is more than ready for his Furever home. I would love for Alfred and Bane to be together in a furever home. However, Alfred will do well as an only cat. Alfred is such an independent and curious kitty. He would definitely make a great addition to any family!
If you are interested in adopting or fostering Alfred, please COMPLETELY fill out an adoption application and email it to the contact address. Thanks and spread the word!!!
***Disclaimer: My adoption fees are typically higher than most of the kittens, but that is because I am financially responsible for many foster animals through my job. I do this to keep these animals out of the shelter and to give them the best possible chance at a forever home. The full adoption fee ONLY covers the vaccinations and testings that we have to do, and that money goes directly to the clinic.***
