My husband and I have been on a mission since this spring to neuter and spay some of the cats in the colony outside our apartment. It began with just one mother, "Big Mommy", but she had babies a few times (we caught them all, except her first litter which included only one girl, "Little Mommy" who has had babies twice. This is the second litter of "Little Mommy". The first one we adopted out and my husband and I just had "Little Mommy" TNRed this week. The kittens have bee with us for about a week. They are social and adorable and looking for loving homes. We are pleased that all of the females in the colony are now TNRed and all the kittens thus far have found great homes.
Now these are the last 5 that need loving homes!
Wednesday was definitely the runt of the litter and had "teary" eyes for the first day or two until we went to the vet. We had nicknamed her "weepy" but she's not so "weepy" anymore.
Wednesday might not have made it out on the streets, competing with her brothers and sisters for food, but since being rescued, she has a chance to be a real amazing kitten. Give this little warrior a chance!
