Fantine - Now Nala

UPDATE 12/2** Nala and her 4 kittens came to live with me on Saturday. She is such a lovely cat that I am going to give her her forever home.
She is a wonderful Mum and her kittens are all doing really well.
Although Nala herself is no longer available, her kittens will soon need homes. I will add their listings to the page soon - so look out for them!

*UPDATE 2/2* Great news today- Foster home pending!

*UPDATE 2/1* Fantine has four beautiful babies now! Is there a special person out there who is willing to give this very, VERY sweet mother and her little ones a nice, comfy home? We got to spend some time with Fantine last week and wow is she a sweetie pie. So affectionate and friendly. It seemed like she was trying to show us her babies- she kept going back and forth- rubbing on us and rubbing on the bed her babies were in. I think she's quite proud : )

-one more thing: I know her setup looks pretty sweet and comfy and you're probably wondering "what's the emergency?", HOWEVER, she and her kittens will be stuffed back into a CAGE if the vet gets in a large dog that needs that space. It is not healthy for a mother cat to be confined with her babies like that and not have the ability to take a break, hence "URGENT".

*UPDATE 1/23* Fantine had her kittens this afternoon- I will find out how many and post photos this weekend. Is there anyone who is willing to get Fantine and her new babies out of the cage at our vet's and into a warm, loving environment?

Fantine was abandoned by her owner yesterday at our vet's office : ( She is one year old and VERY pregnant. Her kittens are due in about 1.5 weeks. Fantine is very pretty and very sweet : ) We are praying a special person will step up and provide Fantine the comfortable and loving environment every mother deserves to have her babies. If travel is an issue, we may be able to work something out. If anyone is willing to provide a loving foster home for Fantine and her babies please contact me ASAP! Also her coat had to be shaved off- apparently is was filthy : ( Grrrrrr, I'll never understand people that treat animals like this
