Tomee

Tomee is one of the sweetest cats I have come across. Though his tail is paralyzed this doesn’t discourage him from playing and cuddling. We are not sure why his tail does not sway or move, but we think someone may have hurt him while he was living as a stray.

Tomee loves to play and is so friendly. He greets me at the door when I come home and then follows me around as I get settled in for the evening. Tomee always wants some love and cuddles with me at night. Tomee also loves to sit on my lap as I play on the computer and even as I write this he is by my feet.

Though he is a cuddle bug, Tomee loves to play. He is not over energetic, so don’t worry about being exhausted, but he loves batting around his toy ball and playing with string. At his last home he had 5 kitty roommates, so is very good with cats and would probably love the company.

He knows how to use a scratchboard, and I haven’t caught him scratch anything he shouldn’t. Tomee also likes to chat. He is just asking for attention or most of the time wants to play, but after a play session lays down and is silent. He is now in the process of getting his vaccinations and has already received his rabies shot.

Tomee (pronounced Tommy) was being fed by an elderly Korean woman while he lived outdoors as a kitten. Though she was caring for him, she heard that many people in her neighborhood complaining they hated him, so she brought him to KAPS, hoping he would find a better life.
