Hi, just wanted to follow up re: 'Romeo's adoption.
After an uneventful 3-hr. bus ride back to Seoul, we got back home and open his carrier. After cautiously poking his head out, he slowly wandered out and around our apartment. Once he saw the bed, he scooted under it and stayed on top of a duffel full of clothes that was there. We just let him be and chatted with him. Eventually he came to the edge of the bed and sat calmly while we petted him and gave him some treats. An hour later, he was following us around, purring loudly when petted, rubbing up against our legs, licking our hands, exploring every corner of the house. It's only been about ten days since he's been with us, but it feels like he's always been a part of our lives! He loves playing or just cuddling, he behaves well whether we're home or not, he's healthy and active, and more or less acting like the prince of the house. Apart from re-training our habits (no more leaving bags of bread lying on the counter when we're not home) and his (no more yowling at the door at the crack of dawn), we're all settling in together beautifully. We are so happy that our family could give him his forever home. A huge thanks to Derek and Amanda for setting up the adoption.

Hey guys! This just made our day!!! Thank you so much for sharing his story! I am sure this was meant to be. We are so happy that he is out of that cage, that he has a bed to sleep on, room to play, and two people who love him so much. What a happy ending, or happy beginning as we have started saying when a foster gets adopted! Can you believe that he was abandoned in a cardboard box!? Clearly he is in a happier, more caring home now. THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH!!!!!

Just wanted to update with some pics after Chomsky joined our family. He's doing well, has settled in wonderfully and we love him so much! Will have to post more recent pics soon as he's grown quite a bit and his hair has really grown out a lot.
