*URGENT - HAS DISTEMPER* Krypto is so named because he always loses fights with his brothers and sisters and is the first to run for mummy when something strange happens. I figured a suuperhero name might make him man up a bit. Krypto was rescued along with his 3 brothers, 1 sister and his mother from karama shelter in Yangju. He is a playful pup and enjoys being cuddled and played with. He is very quiet and will often watch his siblings fight and then pounce at the last minute so that a win is more likely.
******************************************UPDATE******************************************************
Molly and Emma had enough interest from ARK that they had both potentially found their forever homes however I noticed Emma cough a few times, and then another puppy started coughing and then another so I took them to a vets to check them out and unfortunately they tested positive for distemper.
Currently Krypto and his Mother and siblings are being boarded at Chung Hwa Vets in Itaewon where they are receiving treatment thanks to a kind and generous donation, however when they are able to leave the vets in a few days they have no where to go as due to the noise they made my apartment has banned me from having dogs (I made a deal that I wouldn't bring other dogs in so long as I could keep my dog Panda- I can't risk this deal, not only because of Panda but because my job made it clear that if I lost the flat I lost my job as they are unsatisfied with my performance since I got the puppies because I'm so tired at work)
*******************************UPDATE************************************
When I visited today the vet said that they are doing well and can go to foster homes tomorrow. However no foster homes have stepped forward yet. They are currently boarding at Chung Hwas until Saturday 7th but the vet says they would do much better in a home environment than confined at the vets. After 3weeks (wednesday 18th July) we will test them for distemper again. If they are negative they only need to be in quarantine for 1 month more. We think the DHPPL vaccination is what saved their lives as they have regained their health much faster than normal. If you live close to me I would be happy to help out with taking them to and from a vet clinic. I personally would rather they continued going to Chung Hwa in Itaewon as they have been so understanding and helpful throughout the process.
If you don't have a dog of your own and can foster Krypto or one of his siblings temporarily while I continue to search for a new home please contact me as soon as possible. We will be fundraising for the continuation of the treatment for all the puppies. Please be aware that even after treatment Krypto must be quarantined inside with no contact with other dogs for 2months as during this time he will be contagious.
His adoption fee is for 50,000 won which will be donated to the treatment fund: https://www.facebook.com/groups/378480195540849/
