Meong-mung-ee Needs You!

Meongmungee (멍뭉이) is an adorable 6 month old mixed breed puppy in a very tough situation. She is currently being raised by a Korean family who keeps her in their yard. The family is moving to an apartment soon, and then she will be raised on the roof of the building, chained.

This isn't the worse part though-- This puppy is currently being subjected to mistreatment and abuse on a regular basis. The owner's son has bravely stepped forward and reached out for help. He would love to take care of the dog himself, but is unable to do so. He does not live with his parents, and can only see the dog on some weekends--however, he has observed the abuse taking place, and has tried to do what he can to protect the puppy. While educating the owner is a solution in some cases, in this particular case, REHOMING would be best. The owner is an elderly Korean man with very set ideas about how dogs should be treated. There are moments when he shows genuine affection and care for the animal, which is why it is difficult to convince him that the mistreatment and abuse he also engages in is wrong.

Please contact Jenny Lee or Noah Kim ASAP so we can find a suitable foster home IMMEDIATELY. Of course, if you are interested in adopting Meongmungee, even better! Fill out the application...but even if you cannot adopt, PLEASE consider fostering her (or sharing her profile with others who can help). Removing Meongmungee from this household is our highest priority!
