Samdol was microchipped and moved to a foster home in Seoul in March 28, 2013.
He is still waiting for his forever home.

Update 17 March 2013:
Finally, some good news to end the weekend off with. Samdol has been found!! Yaaaay!!! His foster mom did a great job of postering the area where he was lost as well as advertising in the local newspaper and online sites. Samdol was captured by the local city shelter and he is now back in his foster home where he will STAY PUT until his forever home comes along. Interested in this sweet little man? Consider adopting him and making him yours!

Update 22 Oct 2012:
Samdol was moved into temporary foster care on the weekend to get him out of the cold. We are still looking for a long-term solution for this boy - either a new foster home or forever home. I wasn't at the shelter to see him go so I will update more when I hear more.
- He is heartworm negative.
- He has ear mites and an ear fungus. These are being treated.
- He has been vaccinated with the DHPPL & rabies vaccines.

Poor Samdol is still waiting in a pen on the hill at the shelter. Two of his 4 siblings have left the shelter in recent weeks yet he is still there...
He must be a tough little guy to have recovered from surgery in the stressful environment of the shelter. Please consider fostering him before winter hits.

Samdol is still waiting at the shelter. Poor thing...imagine having a big surgery and then having to recover in a shelter! Well that's what he's gone through. :( I will be visiting this weekend and will try get some more photos of him. Please consider fostering Samdol!

Samdol has a very sad story and he needs our help!

Samdol started his life in a happy home with his human mother, biological mother and 4 doggy siblings. Everything was going well and they lived happily together for about 5 years. Then one day, his human mother met & fell in love with a man. He asked her to marry him. She said yes. His parents said "no dogs".

So Samdol and his family remained with his owner's mother, still as a happy little family. Sadly, his owner's mom was diagnosed with cancer, and with her taking immunosuppressants, the doctors advised that she should not have so many dogs.

To cut a long story short, while devastated, Samdol's owner decided to board the 4 dog siblings at the shelter for about 3 months in the hopes that soon she could reunite them with her family.

Recently it was discovered that Samdol had a very nasty tumour on his head, near his ear, and also one on his neck. He was taken for surgery to have these removed and the vet said they didn't look malignant so there was no need for a biopsy.

This whole scenario however, caused Samdol's owner to realise that this really was not the best situation for her beloved dogs. She has thus decided to allow ARK to find Samdol and his siblings forever homes.

Samdol was kept in a temporary foster home for 2 weeks after his surgery to ensure that his wounds were kept clean. Unfortunately though, he is now back at the shelter and looking to get out again. He's had a reminder of what love and a home feels like and he wants it again!

He is a very kind and gentle dog. He is also very timid and would need someone patient enough to bring him out of his shell.

Please help Samdol to live the life he was supposed to live!
