Uggie

Great news about UGGIE! Uggie has a forever home!! So excited!! My older sister in Canada will take him. Uggie will have a sister shih tzu who is the same age. Her name is Mia and she is a sweetheart as well. We will fly him to Canada once his vaccinations are through. He is on the first leg of a happy new life!

Uggie was found over a week ago. He was either lost of abandoned. I found him hanging around the apt parking area of my building. He was too scared to come to me and ran away. I put food out and checked on him in the morning but couldn't find him. Then I looked around the apts near mine and there he was hidden behind some boxes. He was too weak to stand. He is very skinny and I am surprised he survived....He's just so little. I took him home right away and fed him. From that point took him to the vet to see if he had a microchip to locate his previous family. No such luck. I hate to think that he would have been thrown away or if lost that someone who loved him was looking for him. I put pictures up in my area...nothing. So I have named him Uggie, because he has a funny eye, not a cataract but a birth defect. It is only discolored but he sees well with it. He has had his first vaccinations and has a good health check. He will have another 2 sets of vaccinations and he's done. I got him neutered,as the vet recommended it and said that he may have wandered off to find a mate. Currently he has dermatitis but he's on medicine for two weeks and it will be gone. That's why he is a little baldy right now :). He is very good with my dog and as much as I would love to keep him, I cannot. My dog was also rescued but we cannot afford two and to take both to Canada. He is so affectionate and lovable. He is trained to go to the bathroom outside but I am training him to the pee-pad as well. He's catching on! He just wants love and cuddles. He is quiet and well behaved. He's the perfect apartment dog as he is very small and calm. He love stuffed toys and cheese! He has a funny tongue that likes to peep out a lot of the time! He has the E.T appeal~so ugly, he's cute! I think he is adorable! I wish I could keep him! Please help him to find a loving home!
