Update: (September 28th) I brought Cara to school with me on an errand and he behaved wonderfully. Despite being mobbed by middle school kids he remained calm about the whole thing. He is still a little shy but it was wonderful to see how he allowed all the children to pet him. My landlord gave me a month to find Cara a home and I have had him two weeks now. Cara really deserves a loving home as he is such a lovely little lad.
Cara is a three month old puppy from Asan Animal Shelter. He was taken to Asan Animal Shelter as one of eight puppies when he was just a few weeks old. He is an absolute fluffball which can make him look deceptively bigger than he actually is. He loves being picked up and cuddled. Cara was taken out of the shelter in mid September to receive treatment for whipworm and campylobacter. He also needed medication to help break down the chicken bones he was fed in the shelter that his little tummy simply couldn't digest. Cara is currently on a diet of high nutrition dry puppy food as he when he first came out of the shelter he was on the skinny side. However within a week he has fattened up quite a bit :)
He can be a little shy but once you pay him any attention he is full of love and very affectionate. Once he is comfortable in his environment he is playful but is always very gentle. After having Cara for less than two weeks, he has come on leaps and bounds! He is much more comfortable with strangers and absolutely LOVES walks. The second I show him his leash he bounds up to me and waits for me to put it on. I finally got to bring Cara to an area I could let him off the leash and he absolutely loved it.
Cara rarely barks or whines. I brought him to the vet to begin his vaccinations and get heartworm treatment and he was literally the best behaved dog I have ever brought to the vet. He never whined, even when the vet put the needle in and when in the waiting area he just sat in my arms patiently, quietly staring at the other dogs that were hyped up. I have brought Cara in taxis, on the subway, on the train, to restaurants and on walks down busy streets and he is incredibly well behaved and so quiet!

He has put on weight but is still a very lean dog. His appetite has improved a lot.

I had the pleasure of sitting this little angel on Saturday and in just one day has wormed his way into my heart. Cara is really low key and a pleasure to be around, he just makes you smile. His coat is gorgeous you just want to bury your face in it, its so soft and fluffy.
He is shy around new people, everyone wanted to touch him, but no snipping, biting or growling, he just backed away. I just thinks he enjoys his personal space. He takes a little time to warm to you but when he does he is super playful and a cuddling champion.
For so young a pup I was amazed at how smart this tyke is, he walks wonderfully on a leash and would only go outside. Cara has very good bladder control, no inside accidents for this guy.

Cara has been adopted :) However a number of his siblings are still waiting for a home. Here are links to some of them: http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/1316 http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/1223 http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/1244 http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/1241 Two of these puppies are still at a shelter and are in desperate need of a home. When I first took Cara from the shelter he was very very shy but warmed up so much after just a day of affection. It would be wonderful if you would consider one of these little puppies.
