January 19th: LINK HAS BEEN ADOPTED! He is now called Lewis, and will be living a life of luxury with his new mom in Seoul. Congratulations, sweetie! You deserve this!

January 13th: Link had a great day on Saturday! He got out for not one, but TWO walks with a nice lady who just couldn't resist his sweet Jindo charms! What a wonderful young boy he is! He will make a wonderful companion to someone who can give him a chance to shine.

December 30th: Beautiful Link is recovering well from his leg injury, but his high spirits are being broken down as he stays longer and longer at Asan. This magnificent dog is so friendly and affectionate. Living at the shelter in isolation with no one to take care of him is really hard on this sweet baby. Please come and meet Link. He is a truly special dog and he deserves much more than what he currently has.

December 24th: Link will be spending his Christmas all alone at Asan Shelter. I hope that next year's holiday will be a happier one than this. I love you, Link! Merry Christmas.

December 9th: Link's health is on the up-swing, but it would still be fantastic to find him a warm, safe place to stay until he can be adopted by a lucky someone. If you are in Korea, and can't commit to adoption, please consider fostering! It is a great way to help a dog in need like Link. Once a dog is moved into foster care, it increases their chances at adoption tremendously. Please consider this amazing pup!

November 24th: Poor Link has an infection in his leg and isn't feeling very well. He is on antibiotics and the shelter manager will monitor him closely over the next little bit. We moved Link into the green pool area to give him a little break from the clamor and stress of the cage grouping under the roof. Please consider bringing this super sweet dog into your home to help him heal and give him somewhere warm to sleep for the winter. He really needs your help.

November 11th: Link was not his usual, bouncy self on Sunday. He went for a walk with a nice volunteer, but wasn't overly excited about the chicken or eggs he was given as a snack. Link is such a people-dog...and living at Asan all alone in a cage is very, very hard on him. Please come and meet this beautiful, gentle Jindo. He is wonderful, and deserves a wonderful home.

November 3rd: Link would love a visitor! Please come and meet this adorable, amazing dog at Asan Shelter! You won't regret it.

October 13th: Link received heartworm prevention this weekend to make sure he remains healthy and adoptable! :)

October 6th: Link is so bouncy and full of energy! He loves, loves, LOVES going for walks, but he gets a little too excited and sometimes it is hard to get him in a harness! ;) He calms down considerably once he is out of his cage, has had a bite to eat, and been able to explore the shelter grounds. He is very affectionate and likes to be rubbed, scratched, and loved on. Link is a very special boy, who deserves a very special home. Come and meet Link at Asan Shelter!

September 27th: Link was tested for heartworm, given a DHPPL booster, vaccinated for rabies, and neutered this week. He is a healthy boy and is waiting for his perfect forever home.

I met Link for the first time today at the shelter, and boy, what a sweetheart. I can't imagine what this poor guy has gone through, but Mr. Park informed me that Link was taken from an abusive man. He is so sweet and gentle, I don't know how he has retained such a friendly and happy attitude.

While walking Link around he was very shy towards the other dogs, big and small. He showed zero aggression, and only a tiny bit of interest. He seemed the most comfortable when he was walking on his own, away from the fray and barking of other excited dogs. Link has a beautiful face to match his personality, and is a very low key Jindo. He walked very well on his leash, and really liked being pet.
