WOOHOOO!!!

Flash is doing great in foster care! He is housetrained and super friendly. Flash is still looking for his forever home!

GREAT news! Today, Lash went home with his foster family. They are very excited to have him and gave him a good wash today and got him all settled in. They've also changed his name to Flash:-) Flash still needs a forever home, so please keep him in mind if you are looking for a furry friend!
Here is the first update from his foster home:
"(F)lash is settling in perfectly.
We gave him a good scrubbin' and even a blowdry! He is looking salon perfect. He got two walks around the neighborhood park, collected a bunch of sniffs, and remembered which apartment was ours!!
He's currently lying on our feet as if he's been here for a 100 years.

This furry fox-face is gonna own the place in no time!"

*Update*
Last week, a couple volunteering for the first time fell under Lash's spell! He will go to his new foster home in a week! Lucky Lash! He still needs his forever home so keep telling your friends how beautiful he is!
I also learned on Sunday that Lash is a hearworm survivor! He was in foster care for a month and recovered. Now he will learn to be a loved pet!

*UPDATE*
Lash went on a walk Sunday and had a lot of fun hanging out with the other dogs after the walks. He's lived in a cage for such a long time. Someone take Lash home!

Lash not only has a fantastic name, he's got a great personality. He rarely barks and is always happy and excited to see volunteers. He's around 5-6 years old. Lash got a shave right as summer was starting because it was going to be way too hot for him with all that fur and no AC and he couldn't go on many walks when it was sunny because he started getting bad sunburn. The poor thing had to sit in his cage as everyone else got to go out! He didn't complain though. He just waited for someone to show him love.

Lash is an original BAPS dog, which means he has been living in a cage/in a shelter since 2008. It's time for Lash to experience life as a pampered pet! He's got gorgeous fur when it's all grown out and needs an owner who will take care of him so he can look his best all the time!

Lash recently had his teeth scaled and had to have some removed but now he looks great! He is up to date on his shots.

He's never been aggressive towards people and I've never seen him show aggression towards dogs. Lash probably isn't house trained so he needs a patient person to foster or adopt him and show him the ways of a pet around the house!
