11 November - I have had a soft spot for Boo from the moment I saw him; he has the most adorably silly face, and the cheekiest little fanged grin I’ve ever seen on a dog (thus the name Boo!) - and to top it off he has such a lovely personality to match, so why is he still at the shelter?! It makes me so sad to see Boo here week after week when he is so adoptable and would make such a great pet; but against all the odds, he is still so wonderfully spirited every time I see him.
Boo is currently sharing a kennel with Harlow, a large Alsatian, who he gets on with really well. Whenever I visit, both of them come running up to the kennel door and are just so friendly. There is no aggression or rivalry at all between them and both are happy to share strokes and cuddles from strangers. While Harlow dropped to the floor for tummy rubs, Boo loves to kiss and cuddle and, as I had the pleasure of discovering on my previous visit, he loves to go for walks!
Considering that this lovely boy hasn’t been outside in months, he was amazingly well behaved! Getting the leash on was no issue at all, and Boo stepped straight out of the kennel without a second look back! On the lead, Boo was keen to get moving; while he did pull slightly (who can blame him after being shut in a kennel for months!) he was very responsive to my attempts to rein him in a little. If he pulled, I simply stopped walking and he got the point quickly enough, but since Boo is quite a small dog it was no issue at all, even when he did pull a little.
Boo has never displayed any aggressive behaviour and the only time I have seen him bark is when the whole kennel was at it, but this was more a case of him joining in with the pack than a character trait. Around people, he is an absolute sweetheart and will stick right by your side for as many cuddles and strokes as he can get, but he's not pushy or demanding of your attention like some of the other dogs, who are so thrilled to have attention that they do get a little excitable. Although Boo's health history is mostly unknown, as with many of the dogs at the shelter, but he seems to be in great condition and good spirits. Please consider happy little Boo as an addition to your family, he just needs a chance to show what a great little companion he could be!

Boo is SUCH a sweetheart; anyone who has met him can attest to this. He loves people, ad craves human affection. He is definitely one of the dogs that are gonna transition well into a home:)

Boo's got 2 new roommates since his old roomies were both adopted - he gets along with them both, as can be expected since he is such a sweetie. But he really is a people-loving dog and you can tell he would be a great pet ^^

Boo was found moaning in pain and rushed to the vet but did not make it :( It came so unexpectedly and suddenly. The staff are volunteers are all in shock and distressed over his passing. He was a wonderfully sweet dog, loved by everyone.
