*Update - March 24th
Ryan's foster mom couldn't say goodbye to this cute little guy. Congratulations Ryan on your finding your new family.
*Update-March 4th
Great news. Little Ryan went into foster care on Sunday. His new foster mom loves the little guy and we are hoping that this will turn into a forever home for Ryan.
*Update-February 18th*
I've asked volunteers to write about their favorites at BAPS and here what one had to say about Ryan,
"I had the honor of taking Ryan for his first walk at BAPS. This little guy was so happy to be outside. I could not help going aww because Ryan is unbearably cute!
He was the cutest little fur ball I have ever seen, so full of joy whose little paws were busy strolling down the road. If you have a thing for cute small dogs, you should visit BAPS, since he is much more cuter in person."

Ryan Seacrest is one of the Anniversary dogs. Six dogs were rescued from the pound as a way for Leo and Jin Young (shelter directors) to celebrate their 10th anniversary. They came to BAPS January 13th.
Ryan is TINY. He must weigh 2 kgs! He is so small but has a huge personality! He got out for a walk for the first time this past Sunday and the volunteer who walked him and I couldn’t stop laughing at his funny behavior on the leash. He did great walking with all the dogs and didn’t pull too much. He loves people, dogs, walks, treats, everything! The first time another volunteer opened his cage to get his cage mate out, Ryan just dove out of the cage at her as quick as lightening! He’s such a lovable little guy and really shouldn’t be living in a shelter.
Here is what Jin Young had to say about the day Ryan was rescued from the pound,
“There were like 4 Malteses at the pound. Unlike the other three, Ryan was a bit dirty and stinky, which actually made him look so cute to me. He IS really cute and tiny and still stinky.”
Medical history:
Up to date on vaccinations.
Not yet neutered.
Heartworm negative!
Little Ryan is a BAPS dog, which means anyone interested in fostering or adopting him will need to complete the adoption application (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application) and volunteer two Sundays in a row (from 11-3) at our shelter. For an adoption, one must complete a month long trial to make sure you and the dog are a good fit! You can visit the shelter page for more information!
*BAPS also has a sponsorship program. Anyone interested can give 200,000 won for a dog to have their full health check, be neutered or spayed, and get any necessary dental work. If you are interested in sponsoring Ryan, please let me know!
