Fly

UPDATE: Fly passed away to distemper virus. Please keep this boy in your thoughts, and as a way to remember him, PLEASE remember to vaccinate your animals and keep them quarantined from other sick dogs!

We will miss you sweet boy.

PLEASE consider fostering/adopting Fly! He desperately needs to get out of the shelter! He is a nervous wreck and hates being alone. The longer he stays there, the more confused he's going to get.

Fly is an absolutely GORGEOUS young spaniel mix that arrived at Asan shelter a few weeks ago. He is a very timid boy, but warms up to people after a few minutes, and seems to ignore most other dogs around him. He came to the shelter with 4 other cocker spaniels, and we're not sure of his living situation beforehand, but it seems that he might have been someone's lap dog. He acts like he is a toy breed, always wanting to be picked up! He appears to be very young (around 1 year of age), with sparkling white teeth, beautiful multi-colored fur, and a young, sweet face.

From the few short hours I spent with Fly, he seems to display a lot of separation anxiety, and needs someone who has the time and energy to work on this. He is a great snuggler (again, once he warms up to you), but he doesn't like being left alone. He seems very confused about where he is, and cries/whines when you leave him.

Fly is still so young, and needs a foster family NOW! He is young and impressionable, and his anxiety can be worked on with consistent training. Please consider this beautiful boy as a foster or forever pup!
