This is Samson, the sweetest little guy you'll ever meet!
We where so lucky to bring him home from the KAPS shelter, and fell in love with him right away, so will you.
He tested negative for Distemper, but has pneumonia. He's had a rough few of days, but he's a fighter and is responding well to oxygen treatments and antibiotics. We will continue to treat him until he's fully recovered and then get him vaccinated.
Samson is a smart little guy, he picked up on the pad training within a couple of days. He likes to stay close by, but he prefers to stay in your arms as much as he can. He's a boy in need of a lot of affection and gives it back tenfold! This boy is great on a leash, in fact he's so good you have to be careful to not trip over him, because he will stay right beside you.
Samson has never tried to play with a dog toy ( to our dogs disappointment). When our dog tries to play with him he comes running and safely jumps up on our lap. We call him an old dog trapped in a puppies body, Samson is only 4-6 months old and still loosing his puppy teeth. He looks at you with so much wisdom in his eyes, you wish that he could tell you about his first few months.
He's not a barker, but a bit of a talker in a very soft way. He does very well in his crate and we have had no problems the one time we had to leave him at home.
Please consider little Samson for adoption. He would be your best friend for life! The amount of love and affection this little guy is capable of is amazing!
Feel free to e-mail us any questions you might have at [email protected]. There will be more pictures of Samson to come.
Thank You!

We just got him back after 3 days of treatment. He is doing really well! Another few days of antibiotics and he should be in the clear.

Unfortunately we noticed some twitching today and he tested positive for Distemper. They said we should know in a few days if he will make it or not. We will keep him at home and medicate him, keep your fingers crossed.

He was doing so good :\ He still has a huge appetite and the pneumonia is gone. The twitching is in his back legs and he has gotten scared of sounds. We still have a clear headed and loving puppy, so hoping he will make it!

Samson did not make it, but he got a whole office including vets to cry. They will have a small funeral for him. He did have the best last weeks a little puppy could have! We are so sad that we couldn't do more.

What?! That happened so quickly! I'm so sorry you lost him. I know what it feels like. I guess it's better that it wasn't a terribly long, painful process for the little guy. Bye, Samson.

That's really sad. But he had a great puppy life while he was with you, and when he left, he was warm, and had a fully tummy, and felt loved. No one could ask for anything better.
