Meet Atlas. He is an 8-9 month old husky who has been passed around to 8 DIFFERENT families!!!! HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?! The excuse that most of these families had had was that 1. He is too hyper and 2. He sheds too much. He's a young, male husky that is not castrated yet...what do you expect?! He is currently living at a vet clinic and doesn't have too much time there.
Atlas is incredibly sweet and has not shown any kind of aggressive behavior at all. He loves to run around and play with tennis balls. I was able to easily take the tennis ball out of his mouth and have him sit to have it back again. I was also able to touch Atlas all over and he never once got upset.
I think Atlas would thrive in an active family. He needs quite a bit of physical activity and mental stimulation, however he would be a great cuddle buddy. He does know how to sit, but we are working on leash training right now. He is a puller, but with constant training and the right tools (I suggest a Gentle Leader), he will be excellent on a leash in no time.
Atlas is currently up to date on all of his vaccines. He's heartworm negative AND has an ISO compliant (International) microchip. He is not neutered just yet, but he will be neutered before he is adopted (the fees are all covered).
Atlas is just a baby and is too sweet to be locked up in a kennel. He deserves a REAL familly that will keep and love him for forever. He is so confused. Please don't let this dog end up aggressive and un-adoptable because no one wants to take the time to show him what a true family is all about.

Atlas now has his adoption pending! :) I have been receiving emails and reviewing applications like crazy, but I do believe I have found the BEST family for Atlas! We are currently working out a few logistics for this awesome boy, but hopefully he will be going to his new family tomorrow! Fingers crossed for this boy. This will be the LAST family change this boy will ever have to go through.

Atlas was officially adopted AND neutered on Friday!!! I am so happy for that big boy! He is a lucky boy who will now have a mommy, daddy, and human brother! Good luck, Atlas!
***Since Atlas has been passed around so much, I am going to need for anyone interested in him to fill out an application and email it to me***

Poor guy. Epic human fail x8. On the plus side, at least he's well socialized....I bet he'd love a family where he went for regular jogs, hikes, etc.

Hi Marlajoy. Sorry, I just saw your comment! Atlas is doing wonderful in his new home. His new mom and dad love him and all of his quirks :) He is learning how to walk properly on a leash thanks to his wonderful Gentle Leader. All in all, I believe he is adjusting quite well. His new mom even told me that he was house trained and didn't go in her house at all. I have been keeping in touch with Atlas' new family to make sure that there aren't any set backs, but they are working really hard for Atlas. I will see if I can post a few updated photos of Atlas and his new family!!
