It makes me very happy to move Chevy's profile to the 'adopted' section!
**Update, 16/1
I was lucky enough to visit Chevy last weekend at his awesome foster home in the country. He looks trim, his coat is thick and soft and he has developed some much-needed muscle tone. He walked brilliantly on his leash, wagging his tail and happily greeting everyone who crossed his path. We may have an exciting update on Chevy's situation in the near future... Cross your fingers and watch this space!
**Update, 5/12
Chevy is a very lucky dog. He is doing brilliantly well in his current foster home, and is happy and healthy.
He is still looking for a permanent home.
**Update, 29/8
Chevy is becoming more and more playful by the day! He's like a big puppy these days, play bowing, chasing his tail and trotting along on his short walks.
He still URGENTLY needs a foster or forever home.
Please meet Chevy!
He's a beautiful Jindo boy looking for a foster or forever home.
Chevy is about 6 years old and neutered. He spent his early years in a shelter and has adapted wonderfully to home life!
He was a little shy at first, but after just a couple of months he is doing so well. He is relaxed and comfortable in our home now and has even started to play. Every day his confidence increases and we see a little more of his gentle personality. His favourite things are short walks in the park, back scratches and peanut butter ice cube treats!
He greets us every day with a big, happy, wagging tail. He is friendly with our other dogs, and will even approach and sniff them, but has not worked out how to play yet - I'm sure it's only a matter of time!
Chevy is the least demanding dog I have ever fostered. He isn't destructive, doesn't chew, is completely house-trained (not one accident inside!), doesn't bark and doesn't show signs of separation anxiety. He doesn't need too much exercise - just a couple of short walks each day. Already, his classic Jindo loyalty is starting to show and with a bit more confidence, he will make an amazing companion for his forever person.

Here are some pics of Chevy's first week in foster care :)
He seems to have settled in quite nicely ^^ I think he realizes that he is in a much better place now and he can sense that these are good people and they're going to take good care of him. Thanks a million to his amazing foster parents, who not only saved him from going back to the shelter, but are doing everything they can to get him healthy.
