UPDATE:
Marley is back after spending some time in Seoul being treated for heart worms, vaccinated, and neutered. Many, many thanks to Dr. Choi at Dr. Pet Clinic in Gangnam, for his incredible care of this beautiful dog! Now, Marley is waiting for a permanent family! He has built quite an appetite and has put on good weight since the summer. He is happy, is getting better on a leash, and is responding more and more to love. He is quite energetic, he loves attention and is good with other big and small dogs. He is a beautiful dog still with a long life ahead to serve as a best friend.
---------------------
Marley seems to be an Alaskan Malamute, and unfathomably, was being raised as meat. He was living this way under stacked up pallets, at the the edge of a busy road with heavy trucks and machinery constantly passing by. We found him like this, along with another dog, a greyhound, "Buck", on a hot summer day. Marley and Buck were 'housed' in quite disgusting conditions, with filthy water, infested food, and short tethers.
After speaking with the owners, we decided to buy both Marley and Buck at the price they asked. We brought both dogs home where they received the first walks of their lives. The novelty, and gratitude was shining in Marley's eyes! Marley seems healthy and injury free, though he has not yet been to the vet. He is not a loud dog.
Can anyone bring Marley into their household and family? Please contact us, and we can find a way to get him fixed up and ready for your home. This beautiful dog has been saved from the soup bowl, and he will thank you for that the rest of his life.

Marley was adopted to my friend's family in California about a month ago. He got cured HW disease and neutered before he left Korea. He got his own lovely house, professional grooming, love and care in the States.
