I found this very cute dog tied up in an underpass yesterday. I sat there for an hour trying to figure out if he was abandoned or not, but then I noticed a note next to the dog in Korean that said something to the effect of, "If anyone wants this dog, take him. He is kind/follows directions but a little stupid." So I took him to the vet. I named him Wangja, because he kept staring in the mirror, and Wangja means prince in Korean.
The vet gave him a checkup and a cleaning and told me that Wangja is a healthy 7.5 kg 2-3 year old Spitz mix. He has small area on his skin near the tail that is irritated, but the vet gave me some topical spray to use twice a day. I then took the dog home with the intention of keeping him for a week or so and finding him an AMAZING owner. However, my landlord has a different idea. My landlord saw the dog and has told us it's either us or the dog, so unfortunately he's got to go. He has no microchip and is not neutered.
His temperment is very sweet. He bonded with me instantly and even though I've only been caring for him about 30 hours he's incredibly loyal to me already. He takes about 30 minutes to get used to new people but then he loves them too. He is happy, but not spazzy, housebroken, and knows a few tricks like SIT and SHAKE (albeit in Korean so if you know Korean you might discover he knows more tricks). He is not aggressive. I walked him a bunch and he walks well on the leash. I tried to teach him to walk behind me insteadof leading, and he picked it up quickly. The one thing I must warn about is that this dog barked when I left him alone in the apartment for about 20 minutes. I don't know how long he continued to bark for. I think the dog just has abandonment issues (obviously) so needs some training or perhaps an anti-bark collar? He hasn't barked a peep except for when I left him. Like I said, he's a loyal dog.
This dog has the look and demeanor of a large dog, just shrunken down. And another perk is his hair doesn't seem to shed. Honestly, I wish I could make this doggie a part of my family but it's just not going to fly as I'm locked into a Jonsae lease for 2 years.
If you have any other questions PLEASE ASK me. I need to fnd this dog a loving home in the next 24 hours.

Oh, that's awesome!! You should edit the profile to say "adopted" rather than "no longer available" then!! :)
