William's foster mom decided to adopt him!

William will remain in his foster home till Dec, 15, when he will have a final heartworm test.

Looking for a calm, friendly and lovely dog? Meet William!

Personality. William is a quiet dog. He rarely barks. Most of time he is calm, but he also can be very playful, and he likes to run. He is playful, when someone plays with him. When alone, he sleeps or waits quietly. He loves (yes, he does!) food and treats. When I give him food or treats, he sits and waits for it.

Our daily routine. William sleeps in his bed in his pen. When I get up in the morning, I let him pee in the balcony. He needs more training, he isn't completely pee pad trained yet. William is very smart, so if you teach him to use pee pads, he will do it for you. As he is taking medicine now, he pees every 3-4 hours (I work 10 hours every day, so I just let him to use the balcony). Around 11:00am, he eats his breakfast. After that, I take him for a walk. He poops outside. Around 10:00pm, he eats his dinner. We go for a walk and he poops again.

Health status. Neutered. Will need to be vaccinated in the future (can't be now, because he is undergoing h/w treatment). William still have baby teeth, they will need to be extracted in a couple of months (can't be done now or sooner, because of h/w treatment).
When William was rescued he tested positive for heartworms. He is almost done with h/w treatment - only 2 more weeks of meds. And then his treatment will be finished!
