UPDATE
Now Inch is officially a Canadian and has a home to call his own!
_______________________________________
Inch flew out of Incheon Airport on Dec, 24th after 6 p.m. with the lovely volunteer couriers.
Inch weighs now 27 kgs (!) so he and his crate were over the 32 kgs. But the Korean Air check-in agent listened Inch's story of how he had been rescued from Incheon city pound, had been abused and starved, and agreed to let Inch go!
Congrats, Inch! Enjoy your new life and new home in the US.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We wish Inch could tell us his story, but he can't. He was starving and dehydrated. After being rescued Inch was taken immediately to a veterinarian where he received thorough check-ups and ness. care before arriving at the shelter. He loves people and are beyond sweet. He loves to play, and is precious to people. He very much wants attention and purrs with delight when you pet him.
Congrats, Inch! Enjoy your new life and new home in the US.
Rescue story: Inch was rescued from horrible conditions in Incheon city pound in November, 2013.
He needs to gain more weight, but his health is not in danger anymore.
Just wanted to let anyone who is nervous about greyhounds in an apartment know that I adopted Buck, a greyhound previously listed on ARK, and he is great in my apartment! Greyhounds are big lapdogs that love lounging around. They are couch potatoes! With just a little exercise in the morning and evening, he sleeps all day! Inch seems beautiful and I hope he gets adopted soon!!
We are very happy to announce that Inch aka Angel is now in WA in a foster home as he must be tested to ensure the HW treatment here in Korea was successful. He also needs training - the lovely boy loves to jump up and put his paws on your shoulders. Since he gained weight 21 kgs to 27 kgs at Director Jung's no-kill shelter near Incheon City, he is a heavy boy.
