Feb 24th - Angel went to her new home today! She wasn't a fan of the journey but she is relaxing in her new home now with her new mom! Thanks, Leslie! :) Can't wait to see pictures and updates!! :)
Angel's new foster mom has this to say about her: "Angel is such a sweet little girl. She loves attention and will hop in your lap and just lay there while you play with her and pet her. She's really playful; she likes chewing on small strings and toilet paper rolls. She also likes chasing balls around the house. Sometimes she just runs across the house for no reason to get out her energy, it's really funny! Although she's playful, she's not too hyper and will pass out after playing for an hour or so. We leave at 7:30 am everyday so we let her run around for half an hour while we're getting ready then we put her in her crate and she's completely fine with it. She doesn't whine when we leave at all. When we get home at 5:30 she is all over us with kisses and cuddles! At night she is good about being in her crate. She used to whine a lot in the middle of the night, but now that she's getting used to a set schedule she is getting much better and we rarely hear a peep from her at night. But at 7 am she's our personal alarm clock since she knows it's wake up time. She is not fully house trained yet but she is improving over time. She only has 2 sets of vaccinations left"
Meet Angel. She is one of 5 puppies delivered on November 19th by mom, Molly (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/2357) who is also up for adoption along with Angel's sister, Sprout ( http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/2461). The other three puppies have already been adopted: Bear (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/2462), Peanut (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/2460) and Brownie (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/2459). If you are interested or would like to visit Angel or Sprout you need to send me an adoption application first. You don't need to agree to adopt before you see them but you do need to go through an initial screening process. The puppies deserve the best!:) You can get the adoption application here: http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application. Please send it to [email protected]
The puppies' mother is a small (10-12kg) brown and white dog. I'm not sure about the father. Here is a brief description of each puppy from when they were little:
Peanut: brown and white boy. Peanut has a white stripe on his head. 958 grams as of December 8. Peanut is the most laid back of the group. He loves to eat and he and Brownie are Angel's little sidekicks, following her around. :)
Brownie: brown and white girl. 928 grams as of December 8. Brownie has a heart-shaped white patch on her head. Like Peanut, Brownie loves to eat and sometimes follow around Angel. Brownie is somewhat adventurous and active.
Bear: mostly black with white on tummy. Boy. 851 grams as of December 8. Bear is adventurous and cuddly and likes people. He looks like teddy bear. He initiates play time. He acts like a bear by going off to sleep by himself. Bear is the most vocal.
Angel (Sugar): white with some tan colored spots that seem to be developing. Girl. 868 grams as of December 8. The leader of the pack, she is adventurous and the most independent. She seems to be developing faster than the others.
Sprout: all white with tan colored ears. Girl. The runt of the litter. 540 grams as December 8. Sprout is a little behind the others in terms of development. She likes to be near to someone and close to mom but will no doubt grow out of this soon. She likes to cuddle with Bear more than the others.
