UPDATE February, 25, 2014
Thanks to Hyun Joo P., Shannon A., Yasmine L., Cody Y., Kari M., Marla H., Katja Z., Ni-ni Jen Chester can stay at the school till March, 31st! THANK YOU guys!
UPDATE February, 7, 2014
Great news: we sent Chester to a training school! Today Chester attended 4MENdogs training school (http://cafe.naver.com/4mendogs) where he will be staying till the beginning of March. We are very happy that Chester have a chance to learn new things and enjoy life. We talked to the staff today: Chester is doing great, they said that Chester is one of the smartest dogs they ever met. Yay!
UPDATE February, 4, 2014
Chester is doing good. Unfortunately, Chester can absolutely no longer stay at the clinic. He is a great kind loving guy, but Chester is hyper. It looks like no one ever taught him good manners and really cared about him.
We would love to send Chester to a training facility in Daejeon for 1 month, so he could learn some basic commands.
It costs 450,000 won/month (training and boarding).
Do you think you could help Chester to become a gentleman? It would improve his situation a lot.
___________________________________
Chester is a charming guy who loves to go on walks and follow his beagle nose. He loves treats and snuggling with the humans. He likes to cuddle up in his bed for a snooze before he goes begging for more pats on the head and treats.
Chester would love a home to call his own.
Chester is a male tri-colored beagle who would love to play fetch with his forever family. Tennis balls, toys - he's not picky. Just anything to play fetch with and he'll be happy!
Chester is super sweet like a typical beagle, but are looking for someone experienced with taking care of active dogs - Chester does much better after a long walk.
Health status: Chester weighs 12kg and is approx. 1,5 year old. Neutered, heartworm negative, UTD on vaccines.
If you would like to learn more about Chester, please contact us at [email protected].
Adoption/foster application can be found here: http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/adoption-application
Thank you.

Chester is an outstanding boy with good manners and a gentle disposition. After a good walk Chester is pretty laid back, although he does really love wrestling with a good squeaky toy. Chester will blend perfectly into an active family. He's an easy going guy who likes to have a good time and happily soaks up attention from all people.

Chester is a super fellow. He is sweet and just happy to be a dog. He gets along nicely with everyone and is gentle and funny. He likes to romp and play, but is happiest snuggling up with people and watching the goings-on. Chester will be a great addition to just about any active family. He will adore being included in the family fun.

Chester at 4MENdogs training/boarding facility in Daejeon.
It's obvious that Chester did not get the training he needed when he was a puppy, but we are going to try and teach this good dog some tricks so that he can bring joy to his humans. He's a lovable and kind natured dog and we are confident he can be awesome.
We often come to the rescue of animals who are physically injured or sick. But in cases like Chester's, where dogs have psychological issues because of lack of training, and neglect, help is also needed.
Let's continue to help Chester get to his happy forever home. Please consider donating toward Chester's education. It's expensive: w450,000 per month. No donation is too small, and we will be certain to give updates on Chester's progress.
