Description:
This perfect dog was rescued from death row in Ulsan. Somi is doing fine and is the gentlest of all creatures. She loves going for walks and sniffing about, trying to determine what critters had been there before her. She adores time in the yard, observing the comings and goings of daily life at a busy shelter.
We pray that a wonderfully kind-hearted person will see this girl as the treasure she is, and provide for her the loving home Somi so very much deserves.
From Somi's friend: "I couldn't wait to take her out of her cage as she was desperate to be petted. I spent twenty minutes with her and all she wanted to do was be hugged. She is so gentle and calm. I'd hate to think of her seeing out her days in the shelter. She deserves a loving home and I'd imagine she's very low maintenance.
Poor thing. I felt so bad leaving her yesterday."
Health status: 7-8 year old, fixed, UTD on vaccinations.
Rescue story: Somi was rescued from death row in Ulsan city, South Korea. These days Somi lives in EFL shelter, a no-kill shelter in Goyang city.

Somi will be spayed on Christmas eve and will go to her foster home in pyeongtaek on Christmas day. After her recovery, she will be all set too see out her years in a loving home. She's so beautiful. Please consider somi in 2014

Poor Somi is still at the hospital. Several tumors were discovered in her womb and intestines and had to be removed. Hopefully she will be ok and can go to her foster home next week.

Somi is doing great!!
We've learned she loves to be around people and also curling up next to us when we sit down.
All she wants is love and affection.

Ms. Somi is still being fostered by our family. There is one family that took interest and might make her apart of their family, but they first must stabilize themselves in Korea before they do. It's still not certain though.

Somi has really come out of her shell! She loves to be active and play fetch with a ball. Tug of war is her favorite game! She is learning how to "Sit" and "Shake" on command. This sweet girl loves people and her wagging tail proves it! She will make one lucky family very happy!
