Update:Please consider adopting (or fostering) Babble Bean or one of her siblings! They're the perfect age and eager to meet their new families! My co-teacher can't keep them much longer, it would be great if they can find new homes by the end of February. My co-teacher is under a lot of pressure from her family to get rid of the puppies quickly, but she's holding out hope that there are great families out there just waiting to meet these adorable little pups! Also, good news about their mom, she is going to be spayed, so this is her last litter of puppies!
My co-teacher gave 6 of the puppies to a church. From the church two of the puppies were adopted, including Babble Bean, but it didn't work out and now poor little Babble Bean is once again looking for a home to call her own!
My coteacher's dog gave birth to seven puppies. When I asked what she planned to do with them she said that there is a "dog buyer" that comes around once a month looking for dogs to buy in the neighborhood. This dog buyer is some sort of middleman and it's unclear where the dogs would end up if they go to him, they could go to pet stores, or for meat... who knows. My co-teacher was very enthusiastic when I mentioned that it might be possible to find loving homes for them so here they are on ARK hoping for warm and caring forever homes.
The puppies were born on December 1st. They will be ready to go to new homes when they are at least 8 weeks old (that will be February 1st). Their mom is very sweet, friendly, and cute she's pretty small but not tiny, my guess is about 7 or 8 kilograms. The father is said to be about same size- he wandered into the yard from a neighboring village. They are currently living in my co-teacher's house in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do and are all happy, healthy, and vigorous.
Babble Bean is the feistiest of all the puppies. She's very vocal with her little grunts and grumbles, and she's quite lively!
