Ari is a malti-poo mix. She was abandoned by her owner in 2013. Her right hind leg had surgery but she is fine now. She is friendly as she has been socialized with other dogs and people.
January 24th
Ari did get fostered on Saturday, however, she was rushed into emergency by her foster mom yesterday due to a ruptured spleen. She is now back at Dr. Choi's as he performed the emergency surgery late last night. She is now recovering from her successful surgery. Therefore, she will not be available to be fostered or adopted for little while.
February 2nd
Yesterday, Ari went to her new foster home - Eva will post new pictures of her in her lovely home in PyungChangdong with a real fireplace to snuggle up to.^^
February 8th Ari has been renamed and she is now called Nuni, a Finnish name.

9th of February, a snowy Sunday in the mountains.I'm Eva, Nun's foster-mom writing. Nun is sleeping by my feet after two morning walks...she hates the salt
on our slippery roads, her feet can't stand the pain, so no wonder it is hard to find a place to pee.
This little girl is a real treasure. She LOVES to be close, she is silent and intelligent. Still she need to learn to be house broken and to be left alone. These things we work on now every day.
When she came to us one week ago, she was really scared of most things, but now her tail can't stop wagging. ...and those eyes...they look at you from a bottomless fountain of love.
Her name now, "Nun" is the korean word for "white" and "eye" and that's why I call her so. In finnish (my home coutry is Finland) her former name "Ari" is a male name, so I just could not call her so, she is totally too female.
She is a great walker when the roads are not salty or rain wet and she walks really well on leash. This from our Sunday morning...more to come :-)

After over two weeks on the sofa next to Nun I was able to to sleep a heavenly night in a bed tonight...and we both made it...no crying at all AND Nun is also showing great progress towards being house broken. We are living "puppy-life" here. It's very, very rewarding
