Lovely Earnest

Earnest is now with her forever family in Pohang!! Thanks to everyone who helped her along the way!!!

Earnest was rescued from being tied up outside on the street where her days were certainly numbered. She is a lovely, lively, healthy girl who absolutely adores people. She is very smart and because she is a people pleaser, quick to learn tricks and basic commands. We don't know anything about Earnest's life before she was rescued. Earnest will be a wonderful addition to an active family looking for a spunky, silly, loving, gorgeous girl who just wants to have some fun.

Earnest is:
-Crate trained
-Good around children and other dogs (not too fond of cats though)
- On her last round of vaccinations
- Tested heart worm negative
- A doll!

A word from Brittney, Earnest's foster mom

March 22nd
"Earnest is almost done with her shots. She went to the vet today and only has 2 more weeks left until she's finished. Everyone at the vet's office loves her because she's so freaking cute. How can you resist those eyes? Even some of the people who were initially scared of her because she's a bigger dog eventually came up to pet her. She is definitely a lover and wants lots of attention haha."

March 5th
"So, in the 5 days that Earnest has been in my care she has made some amazing improvements. At first, she didn't really have any manners when it came to being around people: jumping up, mouthing, etc. Since she's been in foster care, she has learned to sleep quietly in her crate all night, no longer has any accidents in the house at all, is learning to sit, lay down, and stay. She has also learned that kisses are better than her open mouth and that jumping is not appropriate behavior. She is such a sweet and wonderful dog that has made so many improvements in such a short amount of time."

ORIGINAL POST:
Earnest was found in Gyeonggido Yangpyeongeup and has been tied up outside since then while the person who found her tries to find a new owner. She seems to have lived her entire life outside, and is likely no older than 3 years. She needs a vet checkup and if all is well she will be transferred to a training facility for a month. After she gets all the training she needs to be a part of a loving family, she will be ready for adoption.

UPDATE:

2014.04.23 Earnest has now been spayed and is staying with a foster until this upcoming weekend when she will go to live in Pohang with her forever family!

2014.03.02 Earnest is now with her foster family. She is loving her foster mom Brittney, her jindo sister Seondeok and is slowly getting used to her feline sister Miya.

2014.02.18 Earnest has been at Any Dog School for more than a month and we are in need of a foster home for her. Please help get this beautiful girl into a loving home!

2014.01.16 Earnest is now with the folks at Any Dog School They picked her up and will bring her to the vet tomorrow for examination. They say she looks like she is in good health and is a really good dog. More updates to come!
