Valentine went to his new home on May 25th. He lived with Belgi and me for five months so it was hard to say goodbye to him. Thank you to everyone who has helped me over the last several months! And thank you to Val's new mom, who I'm sure will have lots of time to spend with him. Ciao, Val!

I gave Val a bath today and took some photos. Enjoy :)

Valentine was microchipped and vaccinated today. All he needs is to be neutered and adopted! Come meet this happy fellow!
Valentine approached me and my dog on our morning walk. After greeting my dog, Valentine walked away. Later that day, on my way to work, I saw Valentine again. He was walking around in the same area, but since I had to return to work I had no time to approach him, but he did seem to be interested in me. Later that day I looked for him but unfortunately he was no longer around.
The next morning he was waiting right in front of my apartment. Waiting for us, perhaps? After a couple minutes, Valentine let me approach him and eventually allowed me to pick him up and take him home.
I had a friend help me look for an owner, but we couldn't find anything. When we first met, Valentine was filthy, had matter fur and was incredibly skinny. He looked like he hadn't had a proper meal for weeks. All of that has changed, as he's sparkling white, has gained weight and is one happy camper. He's very friendly and affectionate, though still a bit shy sometimes (not shy enough to paw me for a massage, though!). He gets along very well with my dog (doesn't even mind sharing treats), walks nicely on a leash most of the time (except when he walks right in front of me) and is house trained.
Valentine is quiet, very pretty and loving. He's still young, so a bit foolish sometimes, but aren't we all? He's not high energy (and shouldn't be during treatment), but does enjoy walks. Most of all, he loves belly rubs (when done properly, which he'll let you know) and scratches.
Valentine is healthy and has finished his heartworm treatment (he had stage 1 heartworms). He still needs to be calm for the next couple weeks and will be okay to play again towards the end of May. He will also be neutered in June or July.
He weighs 8 kg, is about 2-3 years old and cute! I began to crate train him and he doesn't mind being in it.
