Giving our baby away will be one of the most difficult things we have ever done. He was supposed to go to my sister in New York, but she is currently unable to take him in. So after much procrastination, we have decided to try finding him a new forever home.
Our baby’s name is Nanuk (Inuit for ‘polar bear’). He is a pure-bred Samoyed male and is currently 2 years and 7 months old. He is the cuddliest and most lovable dog you will ever meet. No other dog we have raised has been as good as Nanuk has. He loves people and going for walks. He will try his hardest to always please you because he loves you so much. Although he is big, he won’t be a problem even if you have a small place (my husband had him in a one-room before) because he just likes to lay around at your feet.
The only bad habit of Nanuk’s is that he loves people too much. He is fairly easy to walk, but sometimes he wants attention from people so he will tug on the leash when he sees a lot of people. Also, he sheds a good deal, so if you take him, spend some money on a quality vacuum cleaner. He currently goes to the bathroom in a big cage, but he can be trained to go outside because he’s really smart. Other than that, he’s great.
Nanuk is hands-down the best dog we have ever known. We would like for him to go to a family rather than an individual. This is because he is a family dog and great with children. We want more people to love him and spend time with him. However, if we can find an individual and/or couple who can prove that they will give him the love and time he deserves, then we will consider them as well. We would also prefer that whoever takes him live in an area with snow. Nanuk loves snow, especially playing and eating it. The reason we cannot keep him is because we are trying to adopt a child, and the adoption agencies will not allow a big dog. If not for that reason, we would have never given him up.
Please take some time to look at Nanuk’s pictures. We can guarantee that anyone who meets him will fall in love immediately. If you would like to be considered as Nanuk’s new family, please fill in an application and send it to [email protected]. Any other questions, please feel free to ask them through email as well :)

Adoption agencies won't allow a big dog?! Why not? Big dogs make great family pets.

I know, right?! You want to know what's even worse? My husband is Korean, and I'm a Korean-American, AND we live in Korea..... but they won't allow us to have a domestic adoption! That's how strict the regulations are :(

That's really surprising to hear. Is there another agency you could go through - I can't imagine they'd all be so narrow.

There's only 3 big agencies in Korea who do international adoptions. All the others deal with domestic, only.
