Ohma is a super sweet mama. I met her when she was extremely pregnant and ready to pop, and then right after with her tiny puppies. Her pups have been adopted but she remains at Asan. She is a very sweet and lovable dog. She is very smart and can be a bit of an escape artist. On Sunday, she found her way out of the small dog pen, but just wandered and didn't cause any trouble. And, being the mother that she is, came over and sat with another volunteer and I as we tried to soothe a dog that hadn't been out much and was very scared. She's not asking for much; just some love, food, walks, and a warm place to rest. She will return the love and joy to you 1000 times over. Please consider Ohma. She deserves it.

This girl truely is a sweetheart. Like mentioned above, she takes on every day as a new adventure.. wandering around the shelter property keeping an eye on things. She doesnt cause any trouble, and is great with dogs that come into contact with her. She can usually be spotted laying under a tree, or pacing up and down the hill. Shes extremely low maintence, and just looking for a place to rest her head with a good mommy or daddy.

Thank you ^^ Everybody is saying that she is such a kind dog. I took her to the vet and she is fine! No problems at all; no heart worms and no blood problems! She has to have been a family dog because she knows what to do in EVERY situation - walking, with other dogs, toilet... I can't believe she was in a dog shelter.

Fantastic - now you have a dog that's already trained and housebroken. Some of these dogs that are in shelters have been house trained and with almost no effort they get back into the routine and are easy to look after.

My weekend has ended on a high note with that news!! Thank you for taking her!! She looks SO much better on that nice comfy blanket rather than in her cage at the shelter...

Ohma/Betty is doing very well this week - however, there is a small problem with her eye. Some dirt was lodged in her eye which needs to be removed. Soooooo - Betty/Ohma has been sporting some very funky neckwear. Behold! Pirate Dog! (On a sad note - she might need some surgery :( )

Yeah, she is in pain - the vet gave her some pain medication and eye drops to take. I hope she will be better soon.

Hi! I was just thinking about her and remembering that you had posted a while back! Yes, i think her puppies are doing well. if you look at the adopted page, i'm pretty sure these are her puppies. I think they were Morocco, Oreo, Rolly Polly Olly, and Sprinkles :) all on the same page as Ohma/Betty! Yay! :) Thank you for the update on her. So happy she is doing well and being loved! :)
