Personality: Otto is a super handsome boy who is in search of a good owner. Active and loves to have fun. Gets along with other dogs perfectly. Loves to get a cuddle and a cuddle and ... a cuddle - preferably non-stop.
Otto should not be placed with a family with small children. He does well with adults though, and is just an attention glutton, yes, he is ^^
Health status:
3 years old, approx. 5kg, heart worm free & neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations - completely healthy doggie!
Otto's coat is perfectly white and will need to be groomed and bathed whenever it get dirty.
Rescue story: Otto was left at a vet clinic in Asan city and later ended up on death row. He was rescued on the 12th of Dec. Here's Otto leaving the clinic. Alive:-)
From Otto: "We will be best mates forever and you will wonder how you ever lived without me!!"

Otto is a loving and smart boy.
Otto is a happy fellow who likes to run around and play with the other dogs.
He also enjoys going for walks and loves the company and interaction with people.
He loves cuddles.
Otto truly deserves a second chance. He would make a loyal companion.
If you would like to include Otto in your life and love him for the rest of his life, please contact Sofia at [email protected].

Otto is settling in nicely and gets on well with our other dogs. He had his first trip to the vets last week and has slight chest & tummy infections for which he's now on medication. Nothing serious. He'll be back at the vets next week.
He's a bit underweight - 4.1kg should be 5kg - but he has a good appetite so that's not a problem.
He'll be starting his injections in a week or so when his infections have cleared up and he's gained a bit of weight

Otto is a Maltese mix (we think). He's such a cute , friendly & happy little dog. He's now pee-pad trained which is good for us as we live on the 17th floor. He's also happy to 'go' outside. His chest/tummy infections have now cleared up & he had his first shots last week.

Little Otto went to the vets last week for his shots. He will need a booster shot next year. We had a chat about him being a pure bred Maltese and the vet thinks that he could be. No matter what, he is a loving and loyal little friend. He had a bath last night without any problems and will have his tick/flee treatment tonight.
He still needs some work on leash training but that is a little difficult as we have three dogs and so can't give him much one-on-one training. But I think in no time at all he would be fine in his forever home. We would happily keep him ourselves but we already have Gracie & Bracken.

Hi Julie- I might be able to help with the dog-sitting... Does Otto bark much? I'm kinda paranoid about barky dogs in the apartment because of all the landlord horror stories I've heard! Also, is he fixed? I have an unaltered female foster at this time. Please let me know! Thanks! And yes, those pictures ARE fantastic!! Thanks for taking such great care of all of your pups!!

Hi,
Otto is fixed. He doesn't bark much but like most dogs, he barks when someone comes to the door. We have similar barking restrictions where we live & have never had any complaints. If you did decide to dog-sit and found he was a problem, you could take him to Chung Wha kennels at our expense. That's where Gracie & Bracken (his buddies) will be. Just let me know what you'd like to do & we can arrange something. Whatever you decide, thanks for your kind offer.

Hi! I was wondering if I could meet Otto? I have kept up with this website for several months and have followed Otto's progress for a while now--pretty much because I know I would love him. Ha! I would love to pick your brain as a dog owner in Korea as well.

Otto is doing great! He is a happy, healthy little man.
He had a short stay with a potential adoptive family, but it did not work out for all concerned. He was hiding from their little boy, which was too bad because the little boy is a well-behaved little boy. Based on the description received from the family, it was as if Otto acted depressed when the Mom was gone, hiding from everyone, but as soon as she got home he acted normal again. The family was heartbroken that it did not work out for all of them but understood that Otto's best interest had to be the main concern.
He is doing well with my Maltese and seems happy all the time with us (me and his 'official' foster family :-) ).
There are two inquiries pending the adoption paperwork, so hopefully one of them is his forever family. I will keep you posted as things develop either through this website or through Sofia.
