Congratulations to Billee for his new home in Texas! His adopter is a Malamute lover who will be able to give Billee everything he requires for a long and happy life! So many people helped to get Billee into this perfect home, and great big thanks go out to everyone!!

June, 2012:
It is truly heartbreaking watching this magnificent creature spend so much time in a shelter!!
Although his significant size and thick coat can pose some challenges for anyone considering adopting a dog in Korea, his incredible sweetness and desire to please will more than make up for these trials.
If you or anyone you know might be interested in fostering or adopting Billee, please contact us right away!!
BILLEE:
Billee is all heart and no bite, despite the impressive shadow he may cast! Although he is certainly a large dog with a distinctively wolfish look, he is anything but wild, and desires merely the opportunity to bond with a special person or people who can give him his forever home.
He is extremely friendly, intelligent and polite, and he seems to get along quite well with his fellow canines as long as they cut him some slack for being such a big guy. When out of his pen and able to stretch his legs a bit and explore, Billee can't always resist the temptation to pull at the end of his leash, however, he seems to regain personal control quickly, and can probably be trained to walk perfectly in no time with the right guardians.
Billee can get so overjoyed to have some company when volunteers drop by to say "hello", that he may celebrate their arrival by racing around the confines of his pen with a giant grin on his face, stopping once during each lap to acknowledge his visitors with a sloppy kiss or vigorous tail-wag before tearing off again! Seeing this is a stirring indication of how loyal and affectionate Billee would be with a family of his very own!
Billee, like all shelter dogs, is one in a million, and he could be a part of your family! Please consider fostering or adopting Billee today!
UPDATE: May, 2012
Considering the temperatures have already been approaching +30, I am quite worried about how these next few months are going to affect Billee.
Billee very much needs and deserves his own comfy home and responsible owners so that he won't have to worry about heat stroke or other such ailments.
Owning a dog like Billee could be significantly challenging in South Korea. If you know of any breed-specific rescue groups or other methods to possibly get Billee out of the country, please leave a comment below or email me at [email protected]

Today (August 26, 2012) might very well be Billee's last day in Korea!! Tomorrow morning, Billee will (hopefully) be on a plane headed to Texas!
Huge thanks to everyone who has put so much time and effort into taking care of Billee and getting him to his new home!
Will update as soon as I know more, but in the meantime, let's keep our fingers crossed for a safe an uneventful flight and for a seamless transition from his current life to his new life in America!
