Tim has been adopted and will be living in Busan with his new family!!
Congrats to Tim and his adopters!
UPDATE: Feb. 18, 2012
Tim has been staying up in the cocker pen again, and seems to be getting on with his roommates without too much of a problem.
He's been through quite a lot in his short life, and apparently, he used to be quite shy with other dogs. Being in a situation where there is always competition, both for food and attention has seemingly lead him to believe that he must be on guard and at the ready for a quarrel at all times. What a stressful and uncomfortable way to live!!
Why don't you be the one to show him that life doesn't always have to be about fighting just for the basic needs, and that he can be loved just simply for who he is! Please consider adopting or fostering Tim as soon as possible!
UPDATE: Jan. 24, 2012
This feisty little fellow has built a little reputation for himself as being quite a dominant individual, and has apparently been involved in more than one skirmish with one or more of his fellow spaniels. Although he seems to be fine around most dogs, it is highly recommended for any potential adopters or fosters with a dog to allow your dog to meet Tim at the shelter before deciding to take Tim home (please see Amanda-n-Leeloo's comment below). Tim is likely quite young and seemingly intelligent, and he should be able to overcome his aggression toward other dogs with a patient and dedicated guardian.
UPDATE: Jan. 1/12
Tim has had a bit of a ruff start to the new year: There was a 'disagreement' in the cocker pen for one reason or another, and poor Tim ended up feeling the wrath of some of his penmates. After the tangle was broken up, he seemed physically alright, however he needed to be moved to an unfamiliar pen, and his confidence was visibly shaken.
Tim was looking a little vulnerable and confused in his new (much smaller) cage, however he was still overjoyed at any human attention and still on the ready to hand out sloppy kisses to anyone whose face got within range. Here's hoping someone can give him a great home real soon and get this year going on the right track!
Dec. 2011
Tim is an extremely energetic and friendly young dog, who also happens to be quite handsome!
He is currently living at the Asan shelter in the "Cocker Pen," and he seems to get along quite well with the other dogs, although he does like to be the one in charge.
Because this guy is likely quite young, he has a lot to learn, but also a fresh spongy mind with which to learn it!
He is super friendly with all people, and would absolutely love to go home with someone who has enough energy to keep up with him.
Come out to Asan to visit Tim and his cocker friends- I guarantee it will be hard to leave the shelter without taking this lovely young pup home with you!

I would love me some Tim (or all the Cockers at Asan)... but 2 dogs is my limit... Cocker Spaniels are by far the best breed of dogs, they can be full of energy but also very lazy. They are good for people who like the best of both those words. I believe the term "puppy dog eyes" came from Cocker Spaniels because their eyes can get them anything they want.
Tim, Emma and Dantes have their paws crossed that you will find your forever home soon.

Tim seemed very happy to get the attention he deserves! I didn't walk him myself, but walked other dogs along with him and the other spaniels. He has more energy than you'd expect from a spaniel, so if you're active, he'd be the one for you.
I love dogs, and, most of the time, Tim seemed great. I do feel some responsibility to point out that Tim started several brawls in the spaniel pen with one of the other dogs, and it was the same dog each time. I'm not sure, but maybe there's some bad blood between these two, which is to be expected when dogs live at a shelter. However, he seemed perfectly fine with the other spaniels. I just think that it would be wise, if you have another dog, to make sure to properly introduce Tim to other furry family members. He has a textbook alpha dog personality, so I believe the introduction and transition would be absolutely critical for Tim to acclimate successfully in a household with other dogs.

And I'm not sure if this helps or not, according to the lady from Busan (who took care of him when he had pneumonia and got him neutered) he used to be rather shy & timid(he came up to Asan last Sep, 2011). So I think he's not originally aggresive or anything but things are not really eazy for this young fellow ( he was 1 yr last summer I guess he's now heading 2?) right now especially in this harsh weather. But I agree on the idea he should be introduced to a furry family member before taking him home.
