Lovely Lola is still in need of a forever home. Lola is a wonderful little dog, extremely friendly and affectionate and very well-behaved. I take her everywhere with me, to the pub, to our local dog friendly coffee shop, to flat parties etc. and she's great. She loves being around people and visiting different places, and is always very happy and relaxed. When I first got her she was nervous and shy but over the last two months she has completely changed and is now quite the social butterfly! She's completely house trained, lead trained and great with kids and other dogs. She also understands the command 'sit' and can be let off the lead as her recall is good (providing you reward her with a treat!) She really is a fantastic little dog who deserves a home with someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves. :)
2nd February update:
I took Lola back to the vets on Monday and the good news is that her pneumonia is starting to clear up. The vet gave me two more weeks of antibiotics which will hopefully get her completely healed. She is obviously feeling better though, as she has become a lot more playful and energetic over the past week. She loves it when we play throw and fetch with her favourite toy, and I'm sure she would happily play this all day. On Tuesday I started teaching her basic obedience commands, and it took her all of about 10 minutes to master 'sit' :) I took her up onto the (completely enclosed and walled) roof of my apartment building this morning, and let her off the lead for the first time to run about. She came back every time I called her, even though I have not yet done any recall training with her. She's a great little dog, who loves people and being cuddled and fussed over. Due to her illness she has not had a huge amount of contact with other dogs, but on the few occasions she has been around them she was friendly and calm. I'm sure she would fit well into any home, and would make a very loving companion.
Lovely little Lola is looking for her forever home :) Lola was picked up as a stray and spent six weeks in the KAPS shelter in Daegu before being fostered by me. Since I brought her home she has been great, she is completely house trained, and doesn't cry when I leave for work. Although she can be a little shy at first, once she gets to know you she is extremely affectionate. She LOVES to sit on my lap and be petted, and will happily snuggle for hours.
I took Lola to the Vets on Tuesday and she tested NEGATIVE for heartworm, distemper and canine influenza :) She does have a non-serious case of bronchial pneumonia though, which I am currently treating with medicine. As soon as she is completely recovered I will take her back to the Vet to get her vaccinated.
Lola is a beautiful, sweet little dog who would make a very loving companion. She is a pleasure to have around and deserves to be in a home where she can be loved for the rest of her life.
