"I cannot say enough about how wonderful Todd is! I have been able to play with Todd on the last two trips down to Asan. He impressed me both times. He is such an amazing boy with a sweet spirit. He acts as though he was part of a family at one time. He appreciates going on walks. I think he tends to get overshadowed by the other cockers who tend to steal the show and he just patiently waits for his turn. Todd is really good on the leash, quick with a kiss and sat on my lap patiently while he had the tangles brushed out of his fur." - Asan shelter volunteer.
"He looks and acts like a big friendly teddybear. Loves belly rubs and playing. I think he would make a great family dog!" - Asan shelter volunteer.
Todd is a handsome mix - he is a real sweetie! He decided to love people and his pen mates and to shower everyone with affection.
Health status: heartworm negative (tested on June, 24th, 2012), on heartworm monthly preventatives.
Todd is a shelter dog. It is very sad situation. In the beginning Todd was shocked, then confused, and finally just very sad.
But he decided to love people and his pen mates, to shower everyone with affection, to ask nicely for belly rubs. He made friends with the other dogs and fell into a routine. Very handsome and friendly~
We did promise him that we will find him a new family ASAP, and he promised us that he'd continue to be positive until such a day comes.

Dear Todd,
you are such a handsome, lovable boy! We know you miss being a part of a family very much. Don't worry, a new family will take you to your new home very soon! You will soon be a part of a loving family. Until then, please stay warm and keep asking for belly rubs!
Love and prayers,
Asan shelter volunteers.

I didn't have a chance to walk Todd today (at least I'm pretty sure it was him) but I sat in his pen with him and his other 3 penmates and just gave them lots of love. Todd is ADORABLE. He was SO affectionate, and would jump on my lap and just give me hugs and kisses galore. I can't wait to spend more time with him on my next trip to Asan!

Todd is a handsome mix. He is a real sweetie! Todd is friendly, loving, affectionate and very playful. He is calm, gentle and has a great disposition. Todd will sit for treats. He also loves to play with toys. Todd is at the perfect age to start a new life. He loves to run and play and he will make a great family companion to a loving home.

Todd is a mild mannered guy. He loves attention but isn't demanding. He gets along with the other dogs that live in his pen. He doesn't bark a lot. He's just a sweet guy looking for a forever home.
Visit Todd in Asan shelter ASAP!

Todd is an absolutely wonderful dog. He loves people and is very patient with his larger, somewhat pushier pen-mates. Todd is waiting for that special someone to take him out of the shelter once and for all. He is quite a bit smaller than a typical spaniel, and is a great size for Korean apartment living. Come on --- you know you want him!

Thanks Kate D. for taking this photo. I wanted to upload it so that I could mention what an absolutely well-mannered gentleman Todd was while I poked and prodded and cleaned him up. He was definitely my best client of the day! ;) Such a chilled-out and relaxed chap!

This Sunday I felt compelled to get Todd out of the cocker pen and into my arms - literally! This boy is so handsome and friendly. He rarely barks (only at larger, more threatening dogs), and he seems to really "like" cats, if you know what I mean. But other than that, he does not seem to be very food motivated (I tried to give him treats but he was happier walking around outside of the pen) and he loves to cuddle and kiss!
I wish I could take him home. He would do really well with a family, and seems to do very well with other like-sized dogs. He needs lots of love, and someone to help keep that white coat nice and clean.

Hiiii! I'm planning on fostering him next Saturday only to get him out of the cold and teach him a few tricks. As for adopting, it's best to talk to a woman named Allison at [email protected] =D

Todd is different from many dogs at the shelter since he is unusually gentle and passive. He's very lovable and makes people gravitate towards him. He seems like a family dog. He wasn't bothered when I touched his paws, got close to his face and carried him flat on his back (which was incredibly cute by the way).

He sat on the chair so patiently and quietly, and content to be around other people. He waited for me to carry him down. <3

Yesterday was my first day fostering Todd. During the whole journey back to my neighborhood (up to 3 hours) in a crate, Todd didn't bark once. I took him to the vet right away to get washed and checked. The only thing he has is a mild ear infection. Since all the groomer's I went to had a packed schedule, I bought my own pet grooming kit and gave Todd a nice shave down. The only time he barked in my place was when I left him in the crate by himself for about 10 minutes to buy the grooming kit haha. Todd has already made friends with 2 Korean school children who ended up taking the leash from my hands and walked him for an hour. <3

Whoever that person is who is adopting him soon is simply lucky! Todd stares at you like you're just great. He's eager to please. He's flexible. If he wasn't going to get adopted soon, I would have adopted him in a heart beat. My Russian, macho boyfriend has even grown fond of him (big deal, FYI).

Woohoo!! He was one of my favorites at Asan (yes, that's him in my pic haha). Thanks for giving him a permanent home. I asked Mr. Park last year about how the cocker spaniels got there, and he said a lady who had a serious hoarding problem(?) had way too many dogs without giving them appropriate care. So, the dogs were taken away from her and ended up at the shelter... I'm not sure if the story applies to Todd though because Mr. Park didn't specify which cocker spaniels were part of that story.
Anyways, YAY for Todd!!!
