We snatched this little guy up out of the pound in the beginning of Feb. We knew it wasn't too realistic for us to keep him since we have toddlers in the house, but we couldn't leave him in the pound! His 10 days were long gone and he was clearly sick. He is the sweetest little man. Not very barky, and very smart. He has some skin fungus that is still in the progress of being treated. He has been treated for bronchitis and has made a full recovery!
Not sure what his story was, but the pound worker said someone found him wandering around outside. He had clearly not had any past training, but didn't seem skittish, and LOVES people! Really, his temperament is wonderful, and would be great with kids over 5 who know they must be gentle with such a small dog.
He is great in his crate. Shows no signs of attachment disorders or behavioral issues of any kind. He loves to play, and is a snuggler with both other doggies and humans! (he hasn't met any cats yet) He caught on to pad training very quickly while he recovered from his bronchitis. About a week and a half ago, we started taking him outside for walks and potty training him outside. He is doing AMAZING, and is probably about 90% potty trained! He is a very quick learner, and very eager to please. He was very hesitant to walk on his leash as well, but a little encouragement and some treats really go a long way with him.
The vet confirmed that he was 7 months old. He will be due for his shots soon, and I will update when he gets them. He had a heart guard on the 17th of last month. Overall, very healthy, sweet tempered, adorable baby Yorkie. Please consider giving Ollie a forever home! This baby has already been through so much and deserves a loving family!

Thanks guys! I am totally baffled by his situation! How can such a cutie have absolutely no training?! Anyway, we were almost not going to rehome him, but now that he has a profile and an application I'm sure we can find him a loving forever home. I think that is best, though he really is a cute pup!

Thanks! We're hoping so! But honestly, we don't mind him here either. Very easy going guy, but I can tell he would be a lot more happy with less commotion, and I don't think that is going to change for us any time soon!

Yay! Ollie :D We love yorkies, in fact that was the only breed we fostered for our first year, and since then we have had others come to us. But Yorkies tend to be adopted pretty fast...congrats everyone!
