Hachi has been shuffled around to several foster homes. I'm hoping mine will be his last. If you are looking for a small, gentle, and loyal forever K9 companion, please give Hachi serious consideration.
Hachi is the male counterpart of a very tightly bonded, dynamic duo. Although it is my hope that he can be adopted together with his K9 companion, Bella, finding a kind and loyal FOREVER human companion is my first priority.
Little Hachi's age is guessed to be a young 4-5 years old. (Small dogs typically live 12-17 human years.) Hachi is quite shy, but once he warms up to you he is very friendly and loyal. He is healthy, up-to-date on all immunizations, neutered, and micro-chipped. (All medical records will be provided.) His long-term foster parent opted for "paper training" due to her long work hours, to which he easily adapted. When Hachi came to live with me, it took only three days for him to learn to "hold it" and go potty outside only. I think this is a testament to the little guy's intelligence.
Like his last foster parent, I will depart Korea within a few months. I would hate for Hachi to have to transition to another foster home or return him to a shelter. If you have room in your heart and home for a little one (or two), please consider Hachi.

Hachi has a voice! For the first time since he has come to live with me, Hachi barked. He got really excited when I gave him his breakfast this morning. I take his "vocalness" as a sign that he's becoming comfortable with me.
He is such a sweetheart! He is a little dog that I think would be wonderful with young kids. He is ready when you are...

Update: Hachi's long time K9 companion, Bella, was adopted. Hachi misses Bella, but hopes he will be picked by somebody as loving as Bella's new human family.
Hachi is such a quiet, obedient, and low-key little boy. He is wonderful with kids, but would also be ideal for single, on-the-go adults. If you're looking for a special little dog, Hachi is the one you want!
