Angel

Update (January 20): ANGEL WAS ADOPTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the wonderful Shaun who traveled 5 hours every Sunday to the shelter and 5 hours back home just to visit Angel for an hour. I am so over the moon happy for Angel :) :) : ) :) :) :)

Update (January 13): Angel got out for a walk today ^^

Goodness me, she was so happy and excited and normally timid of dogs when in her kennel coz they tend to bully her but once she was outside, she was gettin along with everyone :)

Update (January 8): Good things could be happening for this gorgeous and sweet girl, very soon ^^ Fingers crossed!

Update (December 11): If you're looking for a compact sized version of a Jindo, Angel is the girl for you! She's so incredibly sweet and gentle and affectionate. And she's beautiful to boot; but she's like a shrunken down version so if you're worried about size, you don't need to be with her. She's perfect for an apartment!

Update (November 11): Noooo, we didn't have enough time to get Angel out for a walk. Next time, for sure!

Update (October 21): She's still waitinggggggg. Come and get her! Angel is beautiful, and Yeon-Ee gets jealous and Angel gets bullied by her because everyone wants to pet her. She deserves a home of her own where she doesn't have to compete for attention. When new volunteers meet her for the first time, they are always amazed by how sweet and gentle she is. She is a bit shy to strangers at first, but she warms up easily. She is on the small side for a Jindo, about the size of a Cocker Spaniel which would be perfect for apartments!

Update (September 29): Angel is such a sweet dog, with such soft fur! She is very affectionate but is currently being bullied by Yeon-Ee; tsk tsk tsk. She loves attention and so does Yeon-Ee so there's a bit of conflict between the two of them when people are around. She gets along with the other dogs just fine, the ones that are laid-back like her. She really deserves a home where she can have human interaction all the time.

Update (August 22): Angel is still waiting for her forever home. She is a sweet-natured and gentle girl who loves attention. She does well with other dogs, however when they snap at her, she definitely returns. I would say she is more of a people-dog than a dog-dog so she would probably do best in a home where she is the only princess, or with another dog who knows how to share and is not too hyper.

Angel is a beautiful one-eyed Jindo. She was living indoors with the smaller dogs, but has been moved to an outdoor kennel with 3 other dogs, including "Yeon-Ee" (the beagle). Angel is a very shy girl, and does seem to prefer females (human and canine). She seems to have come out of her shell a bit more since being moved outside. She will need a patient owner to work with her in becoming better socialized. But she is a very sweet girl, quiet small for a Jindo, and has very soft fur. I think she would prefer a forever home where she is the only dog, or with a laid-back female canine friend should work as well. Please consider this beautiful girl :)
