(October 14th): Pong-Pong went to his forever home yesterday! Thank you Trevina, I wish you both all the best and I know your life will be complete now with this wonderful little guy. Congratulations to you both :) :) :)
(September 28th): We're waiting on the Chuseok weekend when a potential adopter may be coming to see Pong-Pong. Fingers crossed for this sweet little guy!
(August 22nd): Pong-Pong got a haircut and I didn't notice him, but I recognized him when he started humping my leg ha ha. He is a sweet dog who just wants to be someone's lap dog :)
(July 8th): Pong-Pong was abandoned in front of the shelter a few weeks ago, with a note from his previous owner. The details I am unsure of, but it is a very sad situation as Pong-Pong is such a cute little guy, and super affectionate; who would want to give him up? Pong-Pong is about 2-years-old. He is neutered, though he has a bit of a...humping problem...ha ha. He is so cute, with his big, fluffy years; makes his head look extra big. Pong-Pong loves affection, and he loves to be picked up. Just look at the pictures, he looks like a little Furby! How could you say no? :D Please consider offering your home and forever love for this little guy. He will be ever so grateful.

Adorable Pongpong is still looking for a foster/forever home. He's such a lovely boy and gets along well with other dogs :) Please consider taking him in. I bet he will give you more love than you expected :))

All of my friends and family, here and abroad, have seen pictures of Pong Pong. They are just as excited about him being a part of my family as I am. One of my co-workers even asked me to sneak him into the office for a visit.
Yesterday, I went shopping for Pong Pong. It is like shopping for a newborn baby, especially since I have never had a dog before. I spent hours looking for toys, a carrier, a doggy toilet ect. I have even found myself trying to match colors of his new things with my apartment.
One of my friends told me that Pong Pong means grief in Korean. Well, the name sounds too happy to have such a sad meaning. I tried to rationalize this. I told my friend that maybe he was given that name because his last owner left him on the doorstep of a shelter. This will be his story. However, it will also be his past.
I hope he like me when we finally meet next Friday. I think I will bring some of his treats just in case…..

trevinaj, soooo happy for you and Pong-Pong! hopefully everything works out. just an FYI, lol, when you go see him, he has been shaved down, so he looks like a different dog. but his fur will grow back soon, and he will be back to looking like his old self in no time - it's just easier to keep them clean that way in a shelter with so many dogs, as you can imagine.

I went to visit Pong Pong today. He was so quiet and calm. He laid down in my lap like he already knew me. I didn't even think he could bark until someone put him into a cage. He supposed to be coming home next Saturday.
