After Chuseok, the adoption applications came flying in for Boots. Once his foster momma realized he may be out of her life forever, she decided she would do anything to keep them together. She made a savings plan to get him back to South Africa when she leaves and moving to an area where Boots will be able to run around by the river that he loves so much.
Thanks to everyone who fell in love with Boots and who reached out to help him. We are so happy that he has a happy ending!

Boots is a very lovable 4-month old puppy who is looking for someone to spend his nights snuggled up with.
Boots is shy and anxious to warm up to new people and to places and situations, but with some patience and time, he does and is a great fun-loving dog with an amazingly sweet disposition. Even though he is shy of people, when they approach to love on the cute puppy, he never acts out - not bites, no snaps. He loves to run and go on long walks. He would really appreciate a forever home with a family who enjoys the outdoors.
He is currently working on crate-training and house-training. He has learned to sit and is doing well on off-leash training (in a safe area). He has learned to use the pee-pad or to use the bathroom floor if need be. He has not had an accident in a very long time. He needs more training, but reads people well and seems really trainable and smart.
He has been going in regularly for his vaccination, 4 weeks worth now - two rounds, with third coming soon.
He already has two brothers and one sister in forever homes here in Korea and he would like to be the next! He is a TRULY AMAZING dog and his perfect person will help to get him over his shyness and be consistent with his training. His foster mummy would LOVE to adopt him, but with her being away from home for 4 months out of the year, she feels it would be in his best interest for him to find a more stable family.

These puppies are really all quite brilliant. They have all been easy to train and really understand how to make eye contact with their people, looking for guidance. I can tell Boots, brother to sit in the elevator, and he will sit and then watch me waiting for me to release his sit so he can leave the elevator.
