Yay! Lolly went home with her new mom today! They will make a lovely, happy, pair. We're so grateful for everyone's support.
Lolly may be the cutest shih tzu on the planet. She looks a little bit like Winston Churchill, a lot like Zach Galifianakis , has the charm of Shirley Temple and the sharp intellect of an avocado.
She has so much fur and it bounces and flounces when she walks. I can't stop giggling when we're out for a stroll. Just watching her bounce along can improve anyone's mood. She's great on a leash, by the way. She really has only one speed and will just walk straight along with you. I can usually hear her singing to herself cheerfully, "Just keep walking, just keep walking, just keep waaaaaalkiiiiiiing, lalalalalala!"
I'll admit that she has had a couple very small little accidents in the house, but we're working on that. For the most part, she does seem to WANT to hold it in until we go outside. I think her intentions are good but her bladder just won't cooperate. If you're able to take her out often, there won't be a problem.
She is currently rooming with Belle (http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/dog/1097) and watching them cuddle and play is a lot of fun. They curl up together, or wrestle, and it's difficult to tell where one ball of fluff starts and where one ends. Truly adorable. They get along great.
UPDATE: We've recently had Lolly groomed! We'll upload photos soon. She looks so different but she's happy to be rid of the mats and tangles shelter-life put in her lovely fur.
You can see more pictures of Lolly and her friends in our Bath Day Album on our KAPS page: www.facebook.com/KAPSAnimals
Lolly is a lovely little dog, please consider her as your future pet.
Belle and Lolly post evening walk.
The girls out for a stroll. Great walkers, even with both leashes in one hand!

Miss Lolly was under the weather today. She wasn't eating, and wasn't her usual sweet self. Ms. Moon gave her meds.

Lolly has a bit of a cough at the moment. She also spends most of her time lying on the concrete looking under the fence. I can't help but wonder if she isn't waiting for her owner to come pick her up. She is a lovely little lady. Light for a Shih Tzu and could easily fly in cabin where there aren't snub-nose embargos. She has so much personality (don't all Shih Tzu's!) and is just so wishing someone would come rescue her and take her home. Please consider her.

Lolly was a great little walker today! She's adorable as ever, and I'm not sure why on earth she hasn't been adopted yet! Someone, please adopt Miss Lolly before the weather gets too cold! She would be ever so grateful ^^

Is she in foster care? It says she doesn't need a foster home...

Thanks for pointing that out Clare, I had forgotten that was on there. She is living at the shelter and has full freedom of the yard. However she recently developed and cough and she is underweight for her size. Although she originally didn't need a foster home, I think now it would suit her better. However, ideally we are looking for an adoptive home for her.

Now she's in foster care! Lolly has been reunited with Belle at our place for now. We'll work hard to find them both good homes! They are so cute. I can't believe Emma has tricked me into housing two shih tzus, but so far, I kinda like it...

Haha, I just die whenever I read "sharp intellect of an avocado." She certainly is a sweetheart, though.

Yeah! They get to meet soon! Lolly really is wonderful. We're totally in love with her; it will be hard to say goodbye, but so fulfilling when we find her a forever home! :)
