Bosuni would really, really love her new home soon! She needs someone who can treat her special and understands some of the quirks of young, shy dogs with keen intelligence and a desperate willingness to please.
Honestly, I'm surprised with her beautiful looks, perfect size and youthfulness she hasn't been snapped up yet!
She spent almost 2 weeks at the sitter and did great! She didn't have any major problems while she was there and showed she's quite willing to work with anyone who shows her a little love! My friend is not dog savvy and she was easy for him.
~*~
This tricky little white fox should probably be named Gumi-Ho (9 tails fox) not Bosuni. But instead of seducing you to eat your heart she's going to steal it!
Bo has a very sweet disposition, and she's the kind of dog that flicks her oversized ears in time with what you're saying. You're just THAT important to her. She's also all puppy, which means she's a cute jumping bean that likes to nibble on things and run around in delighted circles until she's dizzy.
Even with all her baby behaviors, she's learned to sit down and be quiet, the best spots to pee outside, and how to go in her crate without fuss from her 'awnees' Osoon and Tokki, who tolerate her with saintly patience. She likes other dogs and loves to play silly canine wrestling games. Because of her sunny disposition, it probably won't matter if the sibling has two legs or was a feline.
Bo was originally rescued by Mrs. Jung at the Daejeon Paws shelter. She had a nasty gash that's all healed now and is in good spirits despite her trials. Bo is a very small dog, only about 3-4kg, and she fits in my airline soft carrier very well with her short little legs. I'm guessing she's part jackrussel terrier and part spitz, which lends her charming looks and keen intelligence.
If you would like to meet Bo, please contact the foster: [email protected] with an email and a filled out application :)

Bo is a very young dog, probably around a year old, and built like a jack russell terrier. She looks like a little white fox with a pointy face and pointy ears. She's good with other dogs but needs some work on being a good pet.

Since it's been a few days, I know a little more about Bo.
The Good:
-she has a sweet, shy temperament
-she is really, really smart and curious
-she walks well on a leash
-she likes to give kisses
The works in progress:
-housebreaking
-basic commands (she's already learned sit!) and manners
-going in the crate voluntarily
She likes to chew, although so far it's been on dog toys, and run around. She learned how to fetch last night (she's very clever!). She's a very active dog, too active for her canine roommates actually, so I think she'd benefit from someone who wants a dog they can play with/run with/hike with or has another really active, playful dog! She whined the first few days when I left but as far as I know she hasn't been barking. She doesn't bark when I am home. I suspect she would do well with children or cats if introduced properly.
She's very small and I'm pretty sure she could be carried in cabin without any problems. She fits in my soft sided carrier perfectly and it's carry on size!

Due to some common medical conditions, Bo's housetraining has been setback. However, she seems to be padtrained, so I have been leaving something down during the day.
No ears? Yes, when Bo wants something, she looked up with big eyes and no ears. Puppy eyes master!

Bo rarely barks. Sometimes she gets frustrated at the other dogs being old and grumpy when she wants to play and will yip once or twice. She also yips when a stranger startles her outside (stomping up a dark alley). Most of the time she doesn't make any noise at all inside, even when my neighbors are banging around.

Someone got grumpypants to play with her. She's also been trying to get the rats to play, which they kind of do (run up to the bars and grab her nose), but she doesn't understand why they won't come visit her out of the cage. Lastly, she'd rather I give her a good scratch while she collapses at my feet than play with her.

I'm happy to check off that Bosuni is now house trained. I can leave her out all day and she doesn't bother anything or go anywhere but her peepads. When I'm home she won't go in the house at all!

I basically had to put her on lock down until she could hold her bladder. I set my alarm to go off every hour when I was home to take her out, woke up early at 6 am to take her out then again at 7am and then one more time before I went to work at 8,then I walked her until she emptied her entire bladder and had nothing left, took up all the bedding she could pee on, trained her to stay in the bathroom during the day with an army of pee pads and no bedding. I don't think that's what housebroke her though - it just kept me from going crazy. I think whatever was wrong on the inside eased up so she didn't have to pee all the time. She's STILL in heat too! This has convinced me that spaying is the way to go (as if I need convincing). She was housebroken to poop outside within 3 days. She's just so smart and eager to please.

I want to get her spayed as soon as it's safe after her heat. The vet REALLY emphasized spaying her - repeatedly! However, I've only gotten one donation and I going to pay the lovely dentist 600, 000w next week and about 300, 000w more within the next month or two, so I have no money to foot the bill with.

Bo has been doing great with her crate training. She goes in on command and lays down quietly now. She no longer tries to escape and has been doing wonderfully for longer periods of time (I'm on camp schedule, so I've been placing her in the crate while I'm home to get ready for the new semester when I'm gone for longer). She's also NOT a barker. Last night I had to have a locksmith slam the lock off my door and install a new one. All three dogs were quiet, even with all the banging and knocking and strange Korean voices in my apartment area for over 20 minutes!

Bo has spent the last two weeks at my friend's house while I was in Thailand and she's DOING GREAT! There were a few (expected and understandable) accidents at first while they got used to each other but now she's being the perfect house guest. I can't understand why no one has shown any interest in this sweet little girl. She's worked so hard to become the perfect buddy and love her human forever.

Bo spent a few days at the vet's for boarding and observation. The vet said she was excellent with other dogs and people and was so well behaved, without any barking or bad behaviors. She will be spayed on Friday and be introduced to the cone of shame. I shall have to post embarrassing pictures of course ;)
