Jabba was surrendered by his owners in his golden years because his “family” decided they did not want to travel with him back to the States, even though they had had him since a kitten (and brought him to Korea).
Jabba is a mature 10 years old, phat (okay…he really is overweight) cat who is still full of so much life. He loves to lounge around anywhere and everywhere; however, he prefers a nice warm lap to crawl into. He is the perfect personal foot heater. He is incredibly relaxed, mild tempered, and has no issues with being picked up and handled. He does not cry or scratch up furniture (or anything really). He does have his claws, but with regular trims, he should not have issues.
Jabba is overweight, but he has been working on slimming himself down (reluctantly). He LOOOOVES food and is willing to do anything for a small treat. He is using an automatic feeder to keep him on a time schedule as well as making sure he gets the right serving amount. Jabba is a smart guy because he has figured out that he can reach his paw up into the feeder to fish out a few pieces of food. Since he is overweight, he has a difficult time being able to fully groom himself, so he would need occasional baths.
Jabba had been living in a vet clinic because we couldn’t bear to euthanize him. He roamed around all day (essentially stealing our chairs and or warm laps). Eventually, he was brought into foster care by the veterinarian to give him more time to be adopted. The vet has offered to provide the new owner with his cage, automatic feeder, litter box, as well as his extra food and litter.
Jabba has already been fixed, is up-to-date on his vaccines and is perfectly healthy. He is ready for a loving home to call his own once again. Please give this sweet boy a chance to live the rest of his life in a warm, loving home.

Hello! I was wondering if Jabba has found a home yet? I will be moving to Korea this Friday, and first on my list is to find a sweet companion to share my home with. :)

Jabba is still in need of a furever home. He is lonely in the clinic and would love to have a home to call his own, where he could bask in the sun all day. This isn't how a family cat should be living out his "Golden Years".
