12.10.12: We visited the vet's today and found out that Franny was adopted within the last week. Great for her!
Zooey and Franny were picked up by animal control and brought over to our vet’s office together. A woman had been feeding Zooey, the black male (4 months), and after a couple of days, she noticed that he started bringing a friend over, little Franny (2 months). After they were brought to the vet’s office together, Zooey continued to act like a protective older brother to Franny, waiting after they were given food for her to eat first, and only then going to eat himself.
These two are absolutely adorable together, though they can be adopted separately. They are both a little shy around people, though Zooey is a lot more outgoing than Franny is. Zooey comes out of his cage on his own and explores tentatively. Franny does not hiss or spit, but she acts timid and scared when people approach her, though she does tolerate being pet. After a little more socialization, I have a feeling she will become a very sweet and loving young lady.
If you are interested in providing either of them forever homes or fostering one or both of them, please email me at [email protected]. They will really appreciate someone who will care for them as much as they care for each other!
